Where were you and what were you doing on February 25, 1986?
That is question I can pretty much relate to since I was already in high school on that particular day that is widely known to many as the People Power or EDSA Revolution. But I believe if we were to ask the same questions to the youth today who were either still too young to be aware, or were not yet even born, they probably will answer based on the information they read online, or from the stories of their parents or grandparents and other elders.
We all know what happens when stories are told. They all get either a bit exaggerated or lacking complete facts, or would even highly depend on the biases of the storyteller. Thus, it is best to advise them to learn the facts from reputable sources that are third party to what really happen so it will be less biased and founded from actual events and circumstances that unfolded.
We may not be able to find the entire historical facts from all reliable sources, but it is much more comforting to learn them from those whose job is to share well-studied information.
I got a special video coverage of the interview/presscon with Vice Presidential candidate Gregorio "Gringo" Honasan and other RAM officers during the premier screening of Discovery Channel's "People Power: 30 Years On" special feature about the 1st EDSA Revolution or otherwise known as People Power.
Most questions came from me as everyone else was not too eager to ask so it looked more like my exclusive interview. I will post this video as soon as I'm done uploading the almost 1 hour press conference. Maybe I will divide it into four parts for easier viewing.

Three of the major players of the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution share their tales as Discovery Channel presents the story of the historical event from their candid perspectiveswith the documentary, People Power: 30 YEARS ON. Through interviews with former First Lady Imelda Marcos, the late President Cory Aquino, and former President Fidel V. Ramos, the documentary preserves the first-hand accounts of those that had played a part in the revolution and how they have come to view and understand the event.
People Power: 30 Years On is narrated by Trey Farley, who also visited key locations around Metro Manila significant to EDSA in order to introduce an up-to-date perspective on each chapter of the EDSA story, peppered with his own personal recollections of witnessing the revolution as a young boy.
The actual show will be shown on February 25, 2016 at 9 pm on Discovery Channel.

Here are some of the questions that I can think of right now:
1. Since this video was originally created 10 years ago, what are the new portions, aside from the lines of Trey Farley, that were included into the new Discovery Channel documentary as compared to your original work "Laban"?
2. Were there parts removed from the original documentary that you feel is somehow important, and some that were too controversial or political in nature to be included?
3. I am bewildered with the story angle that Ninoy Aquino was being eyed as a "successor" of Ferdinand Marcos giving an idea that it was highly impossible for the Marcos government to plan the assassination. Who among the personalities mentioned that part of the story? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I only heard those lines from Trey's commentaries and not from the interviewed personalities? Am I right to think that even Imelda cannot be a "successor" since there is a Vice President that should be taking the place of the president if in case he is unavailable?
4. When Imelda Marcos mentioned the lines "Everything is a priority. Even garbage is a priority. Ninoy was a priority." or something to that effect as I was not able to write down the exact words, did it imply that Imelda thinks Ninoy was garbage?
5. Were there efforts to also get the messages/insights from current President NoyNoy Aquino, and Juan Ponce Enrile? If there was, did they decline or were just unavailable or busy during the documentary project?
6. We all know that Gringo Honasan and BongBong Marcos are both running for Vice President, do you think people will find it controversial that this documentary is being shown during the election year? Do you think it will be advantageous to the former and disadvantageous to the latter with regards to their political ambition for higher government office?

I sent these questions to the producer, Sally Bellosillo, who was the owner of the original video from which the Discovery Channel production used to update the documentary and give it some more enhancement like the commentary and introductory lines of host Trey Farley.
