Mayweather Versus Pacquiao Live Streaming
Wazzup Pilipinas!
Do you want to watch the ultimate fight of the decade via free online live streaming. Watching the fight over national TV would be such a drag since you'll only get to see the fight unfold several rounds delayed. Everyone else would have been celebrating already the triumph, or defeat, of their boxing hero while you're still watching the 5th round.
This dilemma happens when you don't get access to live streaming channels over the Internet. You get to see who won after several hours because of the numerous advertisement being flashed on screen. A long list of TVCs are bound to conquer majority of the airtime and will be squeezed in-between the fight rounds. The commercials will be longer than the fight itself. A terrible waste of time. We can't rejoice, or sob, in real time.
Thus we would appreciate so much every time we get an opportunity to watch via live streaming, especially when you got the link for free. Thanks to a friend or colleague, or someone over the social media networks who wants to share, or brag, his discovery.
I've been always Manny Pacquiao's fights thru different live streaming sites, and I never fail to feel proud of myself because I would always get it for free. No fees, nothing in exchange, thanks to some generous peeps online who are generous enough to share their finds. Thank you also to some site administrators for opening these opportunities for free.
Below is a working live streaming link of the big fight. If ever, it may need some media player upgrades or requirements. Anyway, there's bound to be undercard fights before the main event so we'll have plenty of time to set everything up before the big one.
Wazzup Pilipinas TV Pilot Episode Rescheduled
Wazzup Pilipinas!
Due to unforeseen requirements of MTRCB to review first the initial four (4) episodes of the show before airing on TV, we would have to reschedule the showing of the pilot episode to a later date until MTRCB comes back to us with the go signal.
Sorry for the delay as we were unaware of that particular process (Nah! We just wanted to give all the limelight to the fight of the century - Manny Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather Jr. Lol!). Kidding aside, this requirement will force us to finish all four initial episodes so we could submit it to MTRCB for checking. When MTRCB gets back to us with the GO signal, that's the only time we can finalize a date for the pilot episode. We will update you when the final date will be as soon as we hear from MTRCB who is also requiring us to pay some fees for the process.
As for now, we proudly present to you our Wazzup Pilipinas TV teaser video.
Please see link to the teaser video of Wazzup Pilipinas. To all organizations where we serve as media partners kindly have this played during your event and also share the YouTube link on your respective Facebook pages and online sites acknowledging us as your media partner.
To all our sponsors, supporters, colleagues, followers, families and friends, you may also share the links below on your respective social media pages. Thanks!

Meet the New Selfie: Why Dubsmash is a Hit for Pinoys
Wazzup Pilipinas!
Pinoys love to follow the trending fads especially when its going viral. Everyone seems to wanna take part of the crazy and wild antics, and are always challenged to outdo everyone else. Thus, these cool gimmicks really become global - a worldwide sensation so hot that you'll be extremely eager to join in if you don't want to be left behind.
Dubsmash, a digital app that lets you create a short video dubbed with different sounds, is undoubtedly a phenomenal hype that has gone international fame. It is a video messaging application for iOS and Android officially launched last November 2014.
The Dubsmash mania is still going strong especially in the Philippines where Pinoy netizens have easy access to the Internet via affordable smartphones, cheap data connections and free wi-fi Internet access at coffee shops, malls, and many other places where wi-fi access became a must to attract customers and keep them coming back even if it means prolonged stay.
An establishment with plenty of people looks a lot better than no people hanging out. It makes your place look really cool and busy. We've seen ourselves being drawn to places where there's a crowd because we would assume that it is highly patronize because of its good products and services.
Just like any other craze before it, Dubsmash became huge when celebrities joined the bandwagon. The Philippines is no exception to the very addicting app that allows you to give some smiles to your viewers.

A Shout Out to Manny Pacquiao: Beat The May Weather!
Wazzup Pilipinas!
It is expected that many businesses will be capitalizing on the popularity of the event. The most anticipated match between the Pambansang Kamao ng Pilipinas, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. on the morning of May 3 Philippine time had so much support from both public and businesses that we are so sure that the financial rewards are of the organizers and other stakeholders humongous.
It's the fight we all wanted to happen! What was so amusing was it happened during the month of May when the summer weather is scorching hot. This is after all the hottest event to happen during this month. Pacman would always make time stand still whenever he has a fight. As if the whole world would drop whatever it is they are doing just to catch a glimpse of the fight.
I will be among the many people around the world who will be watching the fight as it happens. It is just annoying that the Filipino people would rarely have the same eagerness and enthusiasm for other more important campaigns towards better goals like saving the environment, or better yet, saving a life.
I once watched an old movie where they said most people would only change for the better when they are in the brink of a disaster, life-threatening situation or something similar. We would only motivate or persuade ourselves to improve when we encounter a grave situation where we have no better choice.
Newspapers: "Pambalot ng Tinapa" at Iba Pa! Do You Agree?
Wazzup Pilipinas!
"Soooo a lot of newspaper...s are getting flak for having an erroneous Mary Jane Veloso headline.
Newspapers won't give you breaking news stories (as if that wasn't obvious enough). Most newspapers are complete by the afternoon or evening of the day prior to it being sold. First edition papers are printed in the wee hours of the morning and the reprieve didn't happen until, probably, the same time. It's regular practice to print and distribute what was news at the time of printing. It could be said that they could have made a plan B for it, and that's true (I guess that's what Manila Bulletin did). However, the update could also be included in the later editions. The medium isn't the most 'editable', so please, let's not crucify newspapers for their "wrong headline".
p.s. Kayo na, Manila Bulletin!!" - Erika Pascua
p.s. Kayo na, Manila Bulletin!!" - Erika Pascua
Newspapers cannot give you breaking news, or headlines, since they would require time to print the papers to make it for tomorrow's daily distribution. In cases like an event happening at a time out of printing hours, it will really be very hard to keep the headline accurate.
This is why it is understandable that one broadsheet had an erroneous headline. They may have shared false news but thanks to online media, we were able to spread the correct news before majority of the Filipino woke up the morning after the supposed to be execution.
There were some newspapers that made considerable efforts to give a more updated headline even if it meant reprinting the headline, distributing batches with different headlines, and wasting a few pages. The cost of ink and paper were negligible - all for the sake of accuracy and reliability.
Mary Jane Veloso's reprieve was great news for all Filipinos, but sadly the 8 others on the list to be executed now have grieving relatives. Not everyone were saved. But we were glad a fellow Filipino was granted an extension to life.
But we are not here to talk about Mary Jane Veloso, but about how timely it is to discuss whether the printed paper is still a reliable source of news and information.

Queerspotting: A Safe Space to Break Free
Wazzup Pilipinas!
“Lesbians are short-haired plaid-wearing abused-as-kids atheists who hate men.”
This kind of accusation has already been so used and abused so much that we don’t even know how to begin deconstructing it. For one, not all lesbians are short-haired. There are those who wear skirts, dresses, and don high heels. Sexuality isn’t a matter of what one’s religion is. In fact, queer women subscribe to different religions, whether or not they choose to believe in one.
Lesbian, bisexual, queer, pansexual, asexual, transgender – there’s a whole spectrum of sexual orientation and gender identity for every woman. It’s a matter of respecting how one identifies as, and who prefers whom.
Name calling is just a small part of the different struggles that LGBTQ people have faced in years. While the Philippines has been touted as a “gay-friendly” country, tolerance just isn’t enough.
Let’s break free from such stereotypes, shall we?

Mary Jane Veloso Granted Reprieve, Execution Delayed
Wazzup Pilipinas!
Filipinos are rejoicing after hearing the news that Mary Jane Veloso, drug trafficking mule, was spared from the execution. Below are some thoughts taken from the Internet from Filipinos and media publications all over.
What a great news to see in the morning!!! I literally cried and intensely prayed for a miracle until 12:40am last night before I fell asleep. Also hanging on with her family. Indeed, God is the same yesterday, today and forever.
It feels so relieving that Mary Jane Veloso was spared and given the chance to prove her innocence. As the recruiter surrendered herself let the case prosper. I just hope truth will come out so that no innocent life would be waste.
Mary Jane Veloso’s life has been saved—for now. According to Indonesian officials, Veloso was spared from the firing squad, citing the surrender of the woman who recruited and allegedly tricking her into.
Let me remind everyone that she has not been absolutely pardoned just yet, but was only spared of execution. A lot still has to be done.

Making Computer Use More Child-Friendly
Wazzup Pilipinas!
Calling all computer savvy parents! This week, a BETA version of KidslockWindows.com is being released in the Windows store. An App that provides a security system for parents to oversee their children’s activity on the computer has never before been offered for the Windows platform.
The idea for this App was created by a parent of two young children with multiple Windows-based computers in their home. He struggled himself to monitor his children’s computer activities, and imagined creating a platform that would allow him to decide which programs and activities his children could access on their home computers. With over 200 million copies of Windows 8 sold, the software is now a central part of more than 1.5 billion people around the word. Unfortunately, the Windows platform is missing a critical safety measure for percentage of its customers.
Ryan Saville, founder of KidsLockWindows.com wanted to solve the issue: “We need a simple solution that will protect our children when using tools like the Windows Store. I enjoy my kids playing on the computer, I just want to have better control on what they see and do.”
Thus KidslockWindows.com was born, both out of necessity but also out of need. KidsLockWindows.com will be the first software of its kind focused on providing a ‘Kiddie Lock’ lock for parents. Saville states: “Imagine a clean white interface, showing large icons with a simple timer that counts down and locks after a certain time period, giving peace of mind back to parents but still allowing our little ones to still grow their necessary computer skills.” In the future the company expects the software to be subscription similar to an antivirus.
First Rule of Virtual Reality: Don’t Break the Presence!
Wazzup Pilipinas!
Below is a bylined article by Sasa Marinkovic, head of software marketing for the computing and graphics group at AMD, as he explains further the importance of keeping technology unnoticeable and undetectable in achieving and maintaining the 'reality' of the virtual reality presence.
I’m standing on the roof of a tall building, looking down at the street hundreds of feet below as I catch my breath. The flag on the roof of the building next door is snapping in the strong wind, and I pull my toes away from the edge, before I lose my balance and fall to the street. I can hear my pursuers pounding up the stairwell to the roof, but a quick look around reveals no place to hide. The only option is to jump — to the rooftop next door. I quickly turn back to have one final look, and… pixel-lag artifacts smudge my world. The magic is gone.
Virtual Reality — VR — one of the most hyped technologies over the past year, is poised to fundamentally transform personal entertainment as we know it, potentially delivering a long-term impact that may exceed today’s most “disruptive” new technologies. Strapping on a VR headset will catapult the user into a new realm of lifelike entertainment experiences that will seem believable — and very real, within seconds of putting them on.
Traditional movie entertainment turns the viewer into an observer of the story, but today’s gaming technology make users active participants. VR technology takes everything a giant step further, creating the sense of the virtual world being just as real as the physical. But to achieve this, technology must become invisible, unnoticeable and undetectable. The moment that technology reveals itself by way of a difficult interface or unrealistic experience, the magic spell is broken — and the unconscious world of VR “presence” dissolves.

Loud and Proud to Present the Official Wazzup Pilipinas TV Jingle

The night before the big fight of one of our great Filipino icons as he steps into the ring and fight against Floyd Mayweather, we are like Manny Pacquaio whose primary goal is to bring honor to our country, the Philippines.
Wazzup Pilipinas TV is proud to bring you the lyrics of the said jingle, with an additional rap lyrics at the end due to special request and to cater to the younger audience of this generation. The jingle will soon be incorporated in our official introductory video for the TV show.
The variety infotainment show aims to highlight Philippine events, destinations and lifestyle features that are of great interest to everyone especially the Filipinos. Hosted by the Pambansang Blogger ng Pilipinas, Ross Del Rosario, with the Philippine Barter King, Bart Abaya and the Common Sense Investor, Coach Dave Aguila, as co-hosts, Wazzup Pilipinas TV originated from one of the most popular, fast-rising and most awarded Filipino community blog WazzupPilipinas.com.

But our journey has just began. We believe that there are still more awesome achievements for us as we collaborate further with many outstanding partners towards greater glories.
We encourage you all to sing with us since this amazing song. This is for all of us!
Just a few days before the May 2 pilot episode, we've finally completed the arrangement of the official Wazzup Pilipinas TV jingle.

Game-Changing Developments In Emerging Markets
From customizable designs to pioneering smart home technology, the emerging markets are breaking new ground when it comes to property development.
As the real estate sectors in Asia, Africa and Latin America mature, the level of innovation has also skyrocketed, with many developers seeking new ways to attract an increasingly discerning property buyer.
Global property portal Lamudi takes a closer look at seven game-changing residential developments in the emerging markets.
Green City - Colombia
Based in Soacha, a small city outside Bogotá, the Green City projects represent the present and future of the country’s real estate market. This is a great example of urban development: combining efficient technologies, smart spaces and a sense of community for residents. The project offers common areas like green spaces, playgrounds and more: a city within a city.
Fun Time at the Beach of Tondaligan, Pangasinan
Wazzup Pilipinas!
Pangasinan's beach in Tondaligan will definitely confirm that the Philippines is truly a tropical country. Inspite of the fact that it’s crazy hot in here (especially now that it is summer time), Pangasinan has some beaches to help cool you down and forget about the sweaty 4 hour trip (improved with the access to a new road that shortened the usual 6 hour trip from Manila.
Tondaligan beach is just one of the lesser attractive beaches in Pangasinan. Yup! There's a lot of great beaches with white sands, great views and several other attractions, however most of them are just too far by road, and many would require you to travel by plane.
With grayish sands, and a not really fascinating view, it is good enough for the ordinary traveler who wants to dip into the waters to refresh himself from the summer heat. It is not a “must-see” destination whenever you happen to pass by Pangasinan since the Hundred Island beaches are more popular for the more picky and adventurous tourist.
But we were not exactly in Pangasinan for the beaches. We were there because we attended a family get-together with my mother's relatives, so the fairly satisfactory beach will have to do just to refresh us and feel the cool waters. The visit to the beach was just a side trip to treat our relatives who came with us to Pangasinan from Manila aboard our official transportation provider - Fox Travel Services.
Woven into Being by Kidlat de Guia at Galleria Duemila
Wazzup Pilipinas!
Galleria Duemila presents Woven into Being, a solo show by Kidlat de Guia. Equal parts patchwork and photography, the exhibition takes the form of fragmented photographic tapestry, which wields and merges craft and technology.
Much like the tactile method of Kidlat de Guia’s practice as a filmmaker, the process in Woven into Being similarly entails cutting, splicing, and weaving, but this time of collected photographs from trips and fieldwork around the Philippines. Transforming the quotidian form of photographs, he manipulates strips of digital prints by either breaking the weave to expose nuances or to continuously overlay to keep something unseen. The outputs are rivetingly composite and texturized layers of photographic images that disclose an alternate reality. Evocative woven images of drivers and their beat up trucks, portraits of loved ones and the spaces they occupied pushes forward through that all memory is social. A saturated feel of human experience pervades in his images and seemingly attempts to structure and approximate the past, loss, hope, and memory.
Kidlat de Guia completed a BA Broadcasting Communications degree at University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City, in 1998. He was the recipient of Award of Excellence at the Aqua Planet Video Festival in Japan in 2003. His works has been exhibited in the Philippines and Singapore. “Woven into Being” runs from May 9-30, 2015 at Galleria Duemila located at 210 Loring Street, 1300 Pasay City. 50 Years @ Pangasinan: A Double Birthday Celebration
It was our uncle and aunt’s fiftieth birthday (and apparently also their wedding anniversary celebration - all falling on the month of April). We were supposed to visit them the previous week, but most of us were unavailable and so we decided to change the date. Now that the day has finally arrived, we woke up, grabbed our prepared stuff and left home. Having descended the stairwell of our building and left the village, we hopped aboard the van at around three in the morning. Bags were packed and seats were chosen by each family member. As we left the avenue and drove towards our rather distant first stop, Taguig - where our cousins were supposed to wait for us – we greeted our driver, Mr. Jun from Fox Travel Services - our transportation service, and exchanged introductions. While the rest of the family was talking, I was trying to regain a few more winks of sleep. Finally realizing that the bumpy road and noisy chatter lead me to inevitable failure, I finally gave up trying to sleep. The motion and inertia brought about by the vehicle weren’t helping either.
As we moved on, pointless chatter still went on and I was hopelessly trying to refrain from saying anything impolite. You know how grumpy a person can be without having enough sleep, right? My dad convinced me to transfer seats since according to him and his ego I could catch their “stupidity”, but I refused since if I did I would just become more vexed. With that in mind, I just transferred to the next seat, still in the same row at the back, and watched the passing surroundings through the window. I also checked the time on my phone every now and then.
After a few hours our cousin ate Jennifer, along with her companion, were the next ones to join the van. A few kilometres later, in our point of view were now our aunt and the rest of our cousins. The van was now packed with people, who were surprisingly cheerful even at such an early time of the day. My mom wanted my aunt to sit beside me near the back end of the van. With that, we went onwards to our real destination – to the province of Pangasinan.
