We did it again! We are recognized again as the Most Outstanding Influential Blog Site of 2015 at the National Customers' Choice Annual Awards (NCCAA) 2015 held recently on December 9, 2015 at the Eastwood Richmonde Hotel at Eastwood Libis, Quezon City.
Together with many other awardees from various industries from the Metro Manila, Provincial, and National Categories, we proudly receive this award and dedicate this to our readers, supporters, correspondents, sponsors and all the brands and organizations that trusted us throughout the almost 3 years we've existed.
Spotted at the awards night were celebrities and entrepreneurs Ara Mina aka Hazel Reyes, 8-months preggy Shamcey Supsup Lee and her husband Lloyd Lee, and guest of honor Dingdong Avanzado aka Fernando Avanzado, former OPM artist and now Vice Governor of Siquijor. All of them are also awardees for being among the top-ranked professionals with deserving companies.
This is our 4th award this year, aside from the many other awards we've received from the previous years since we started on March 2013. We will soon be celebrating our 3rd year on March 2016 but we believe there are so many things that we need to do to innovate and improve our services.
The night was a celebration to acknowledge the accomplishments of each awardee so we would all be reminded of our valuable efforts to excel in our chosen fields of interests.
Supporting customers make better choices, the National Customer’s Choice Annual Awards strives to make the general public aware of top-ranked companies, products, brands, and service providers in various categories by conducting an independent market research survey that is statistically accurate. Through the recognition, the awards aims to motivate these companies to continue raising the bar of excellence for the benefit of the customers.
The National Customer’s Choice Annual Awards recipients are not selected by a panel of judges, but are chosen by you… the customers. Each year, customers gather their opinions, perceptions, awareness and expectations regarding the companies, products, brands and services they choose on a daily basis.
The Consumer Eye Marketing & Research Council is mandated to conduct the customers and business surveys. The top-ranked businesses selected are awarded the National Customers’ Choice Annual Award.
In addition to recognizing businesses with the National Customers’ Choice Annual Award, this organization also offers recipients the opportunity to further explore their exclusive status, with a variety of marketing initiatives. National Customer’s Choice Annual Awards’ Logo is considered the “Seal of Excellence" used to identify only those businesses and individuals who have been chosen as outstanding professionals, companies, products, brands and service providers.
Ara Mina gave us two song numbers which reminded us as well of her singing prowess. Mind you that she sang live, not lip-synching, with no auto-tune assistance, which makes her a level higher compared to the ones who only sound good in their albums but very poor in real life.
Vice Governor Dingdong Avanzado shared an inspirational message to the awardees and guests without using any "kodigo" or speech or idiot board guide. This means he truly says what is in his mind, heart and soul. he touched on how we should not generalize celebrities as inexperienced and illiterate when it comes to governing since many have studied and trained themselves well to be able to familiarize themselves with the needs of their constituents. Just as how businesses are determined to elevate their standards so they would be among the quality brands that customers will patronize.
I was requested to talk about the importance of online media presence for brands so they will become equally competitive with the rest of the bigger companies out there that are considered giants already. With digital marketing through the use of blogs and social media networks, we are able to sort of level the playing fields for even startups and MSMEs who do not have the capacity to advertise in traditional media like print, TV and radio which charges a lot. My talk promoted the use of bloggers as influencers to share the news and information about businesses. With online presence being the most sought after via Google browsing through Internet-connected smartphones and tablets, companies can take advantage of the situation by being well-written by bloggers who thrive more on experiencing their products and services as part of their daily adventures.
A cake-slicing ceremony was initiated to start the ceremonies. The activity was led by Consumer Eye Marketing & Research Director and CEO, and NCCAA Committee Chairman Wilfredo Lemque Jr., togetehr with guest of honors Ara Mina aka Hazel Ryes in real life, and Vice Governor Fernando "Dingdong" Avanzado and the NCCAA Council members. The awards night is organized by the Phil Events Specialist and Marketing Services Co. Ltd., Consumer Eye Marketing & Research, and Shopbest Magazine.
