Wazzup Pilipinas!
Get to experience first hand the Apple Watch because the long wait is over. You get to finally hold and wear the different models as you choose among the many varieties which one you will be bringing home to enjoy along with your iPhone.
Apple Watch has finally arrived at Power Mac Center, the premier Apple partner in the Philippines. There were several months of anticipation following its worldwide launch in March and the Philippines only got to have it available to the public on October 23, 2015 at Power Mac Center’s flagship store in Greenbelt 3.
According to the Power Mac Center CEO, Lawrence Sison, the Trinoma branch is also offering them, except for the Apple Watch Edition, simultaneously with the launch at Greenbelt 3. Greenbelt offers all three: Apple Watch Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch Edition.

I happened to be the very first to try them out when it opened to the media and guest during its launch. Celebrity Marc Nelson was first to sign up to try the Apple Watch but I came in second. Fortunately, the watches I requested came first before Marc's so I am proud to say that I was the very first to actually experience wearing the Apple Watch, all three kinds. I took photos and videos so I can boast that I have proof of my statements. Lol!
The cover photo above is (L-R) Anthony George Constantino, Power Mac Center Campaigns Manager, Power Mac Center brand ambassador Champ Lui Pio, and Power Center CEO Lawrence Sison. Champ was the third person to buy an Apple Watch from the store, though technically he may be the second since the first one bought an Apple Watch Sport. Meanwhile, I am still waiting for Santa Claus to grant my wish this Christmas since I have been "nice" and not "naughty" all throughout the year.

Above is a video compilation of what happened during the launch at Greenbelt 3 in Makati city. It features the celebrities who attended the event.
Celebrities I spotted at the launch aside from marc Nelson were Paulo Valenciano, Chienna Filomeno, Mari Jasmine, and Champ Lui Pio. I got video messages from these Power Mac Center brand ambassadors so watch out for them at our YouTube channel. I will upload them soon.
I was also fortunate to get video messages from Princess Laosantos of Product Management and Anthony George Constantino of Campaigns Management of Power Mac Center who welcomed us to the event opened by their CEO.
More photos will be uploaded at our official Facebook page.
Below are additional information we got from Power Mac Center's official press release:
Apple Watch is the tech giant’s first foray into wearable technology. Apart from being an incredibly accurate timepiece and a groundbreaking health and fitness companion, Apple Watch was designed to provide more intimate and immediate ways of connecting. Important information and essential features are now just a raise of the wrist away.
“Power Mac Center customers have long been clamoring for us to carry Apple Watch in our retail locations. Finally, they can get their hands on Apple’s most personal device yet,” said Princess Laosantos, Manager - Product Management Department of Power Mac Center.
At its core, Apple Watch enables users to view key notifications like call, text, and email alerts, and respond anytime, anywhere. Users can ask assistance from Siri at the push of the Digital Crown, control music by voice, and pay even without credit card on-hand through Apple Pay. With Digital Touch, Apple Watch allows communication in all-new ways such as through a sketch, a tap, or even the rhythm of the user’s own heartbeat.
In the same way that choosing what to wear is very personal, Apple encourages users to inject their personality into their choice of Apple Watch. It comes in three models, the aluminum Apple Watch Sport, the stainless steel Apple Watch, and the solid gold Apple Watch Edition in two sizes, the 42-mm and 38-mm. The watch face can be customized in a lot of ways, ranging from traditional analog, to beautifully animated butterflies and jellyfish, to the information-rich modes. A full range of straps and bands in stainless steel, leather, and fluoroelastomer can also be easily interchanged.
Apple Watch Edition, crafted from custom rose or yellow 18-karat gold alloys, is available exclusively at Power Mac Center Greenbelt 3. Those who want to try it on may arrange an appointment and be assisted by Apple Watch Experts deployed in-store.
While Apple Watch supports most iOS apps, it is particularly proud of its integrated health and fitness apps. Apple believes that fitness isn’t limited to running, biking, and hitting the gym. Apple Watch tracks every physical activity and encourages further movement. It ultimately helps set and keep track of fitness goals.
“Apple Watch is a reimagining of the watch as we know it. It’s a unique timepiece with innovative features perfect for any Filipino lifestyle - be it for fitness enthusiasts, working professionals, even fashion-savvy ones,” said Ivan Ambrosio, Assistant Brand Manager of Apple for Power Mac Center.
Patrons may avail of Apple Watch models from Power Mac Center Greenbelt 3 and TriNoma starting today, October 23, 2015. Price starts at ₱19,990.00 for Apple Watch Sport.
