Wazzup Pilipinas!
I believe many would want to be first in line of everything that's full of opportunities and rewards. Who wouldn't want to experience life to the fullest where all roads leads to the best day ever. But the best day ever need not be only during December where the holiday seasons are at its best. We can start the celebration as early as October.
Now we have an opportunity to pamper ourselves for two days from October 16 and 17 (that's Friday and Saturday) with just the right amount of guilty pleasure by indulging on our favorite food and drinks available at huge discounts.
Be the first to come, create and celebrate the intoxicating Spirit of the 2015 Season of fun-loving and giving as The Real Oktoberfest Experience brings you music, delicious grub, fun games and your favorite beer brew that will follow to your heart's content and uplift your spirits.
At a gathering for bloggers, the peeps from the BGC group announced the event a week before the actual date at the Draft Gastropub where we seemingly celebrated on a feast of the establishments specialties perfectly matched with cold bottles of Paulaner.
The Real Oktoberfest is best celebrated with bottles of Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier. This isn't the first time I've tried Paulaner beers so I can wholeheartedly say that they are amazingly one of the best beers I've experienced. I would never get bored drinking this beer.
Providing entertainment was Prince who continuously played live for us while we dine on the fabulous European dishes like Beer Cheese Croquettes, Beer Flat Bread, Salt and Pepper Pretzel, Schnitzel and Cheese, Curry Cheese Hungarian and a few more dishes like the Beer Knuckles and the (Beer) Sausage dish with salad that were not in the original menu that were supposed to be served to us. I had two drinks (Mango and Iced Tea) to help me digest all of these tasty gastronomic delights that came out one by one from the Chef's mighty kitchen.
We were definitely in food heaven at Draft Gastropub, and if heaven was really like this, I wouldn't mind going there as early as today. Lol! Seriously, the beer complements the food served at the establishment, enough to please all beer drinkers out there.
The meals were prepared by Chef Carlo Miguel whom we also requested to give us a short video message just like the rest of the key people collaborating on the event, namely Sean Luarca and Pam Magbitang from BGC, Chester Cabrera from Booze Online representing Paulaner, and the three very happy people from Draft Gastropub, Toni Santos, Aidee Alcantara and Kate De Castro (I forgot to get their business cards so I might be mistaken with the spelling of their names).
The Fort favorites like Draft Gastropub, Aracama, Kraft, Katsu, Scarlet, Tony Roma's, K-Pub, and Cable Car will be participating in the event where you can hang out at The Fort Entertainment Complex Open Parking.
Beer drinkers and aficionados alike will also rejoice as Draft Gastropub will be selling the exclusive Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier, a Munich blend that is prepared only during Oktoberfest.
The fun doesn't end there as there will also be #Hugot Quiz Night where everyone would get to find out if they are true blue die-hard fans of popular movie and TV lines.
Novelty board games will also be available like Jenga, Snakes and Ladder, Tic-Tac-Toe and a lot more.
The two-day food and drink festival will be capped on the 17th with a special performance from our very own yet internationally-renowned act, Up Dharma Down.
