Wazzup Pilipinas!
Panasonic Asia Pacific Pte Ltd will release a new portable LCD projector “PT-VW350 Series” to support Intel® Pro WiDi, in May 2015.
The range comprises the PT-VW355N (WXGA, 4,000 lm) and PT-VX425N (XGA, 4,500 lm) and two non-network variants, the PT-VW350 (WXGA, 4,000 lm) and PT-VX420 (XGA, 4,500 lm), both with similar base specification.
PT-VW355N and PT-VX425N are the world’s first*1 projectors to support Intel® Pro WiDi in addition to supporting Miracast, which provides easy projection of the screen of a PC or Android™ device (tablet, smartphone, etc.) via wireless LAN. The new projectors allow wireless transmission and quick projection of documents, videos, websites and other content from Intel® Pro WiDi supporting PCs,*3 etc.
Basic performance, such as connection stability, security and response speed, has also been significantly improved.
Furthermore, by using an original Panasonic iOS, Android, and PC wireless application software, screen projection from multiple PCs (up to 16 units*4) and simultaneous wireless transmission from one PC to multiple projectors are possible. These screen sharing functions promote efficiency in participatory meetings and group study.
Also, with the optimized temperature design inside the projector body, both brightness and quietness are maintained, and the smallest and lightest*2 (approximately 3.4-kg) design in the 4,000-lm brightness class is realized. Basic performance, which ensures durability in business use, with a lamp replacement cycle of 5,000 hours (7,000 hours in eco-mode) and a filter replacement cycle of 7,000 hours,*7 contributes to a reduction in maintenance costs.
