The Walking Dead Haunted Prison House: Experience The Zombie Horror at Eastwood City

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Available today until November 9, 2014 is a Megaworld Lifestyle Malls and Eastwood City horror attraction created specifically for the Halloween season. It's on a very limited run so be sure not to miss this mini maze of horror.

They invite all thrill-seekers and enthusiasts to conquer and survive this year's most terrifying horror house - The Walking Dead Haunted Prison House, a horror attraction inspired by the post-apocalyptic horror-drama TV series from the US. This gives you a chance to experience the gore and spine-chilling thrills of The Walking Dead in real life.

The Waking Dead
was based on a popular comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman and developed by Frank Darabont for TV. It capitalizes on the popular zombie apocalypse movies.

The setup was taken from the fourth season where our The Walking Dead stars are situated in a prison that is also overrun by the blood-thirsty and flesh-eating zombies, also known as walkers.

Ticket price is only P 100 per person but children should be accompanied by an adult.

  1. I didn't knew that Eastwood is having an event like this. I would love to go and try it out, maybe with some friends or family. I bet that this would be really fun base on the pictures that was posted with the article and the ticket price is reasonable. Walking Dead fans would be thrilled to see the set of the prison house.

  2. I think this would be a great attraction for people who are fans of The Walking Dead series like me. I'd like to check it out with my friends and especially with my youngest sister who's a fangirl of this series.

  3. If I hadn't seen this post, I wouldn't have had known that there was such an event happening so close to home!

Even though I admit that I'm an honest-to-goodness scaredy cat, I admit that I'm a huge fan of the horror and occult scene. This event would be an excellent experience for those who want to feel what it's like being stuck in a post-apocalyptic world being chased by zombies.

I'll try and see if I can attend the event with my family or friends.

  4. This is the first time I've seen this event. This kind of event really suit this month, since for me it's kind of exciting yet at the same time creepy. I like horror houses even though it makes me want to scream really loud however it is very thrilling.

Truth to be told, I haven't watched The Walking Dead so I have no idea what it is about but I'll try to watch it if I have the time so that when I want to go there I will have an idea on what inspired them to make this kind of horror house.

  6. I didn't know that Eastwood held this event. I really want to go and experience a horror house like this one but unfortunately this event is only until today. I'm really not a fan of The Walking Dead series but I enjoy going in horror houses such as this one. I just hope that they'll organize an event like this again next year.

  7. I really want to try this "The Walking Dead" themed horror house in Eastwood with my family because my whole family has been watching The Walking Dead from it's very first season. And I think we would enjoy this because we're just watching this on TV and now we can experience the feeling of being surrounded by zombies haha but unfortunately, I didn't knew that they are going to held this event and I wasn't able to ask my dad to try this out. :( And now I'm just hoping that they will held another event like this next year. :)

  8. I'm a fan of Walking Dead but unfortunately, I was not able to go there because of my schedule. But if I will be given another chance to try it, why not right? Walking Dead is so popular this day so I'm sure that Eastwood does not regret of making this.

  9. I think that the horror prison house should re-open for this upcoming Christmas break. This way, those who didn't experience the thrill would be given a chance to experience it and maybe those who already experienced it could try it again. This would be a great attraction even though it's Christmas season so families could visit them and bond together.

  10. I got really pumped up when I found out that there's going to be a horror attraction that is The Walking Dead themed. I'm a huge fan of the said show and my parents and I have been total avid fans since its first season.

It was really clever and wise for the organizers to choose The Walking Dead as the theme for one of their horror events because more viewers are turning into fans. The fifth season of TWD is just in the middle of its air-time here in the Philippine when they held this event. I'm pretty sure that this was a real success considering the fact that The Walking Dead is one of the most-awaited and well-acknowledged shows.

I really wished that I was able to try this but unfortunately, I wasn't able to experience this attraction due to busy schedule and school works..I hope that I'l' get a chance to experience this kind of thrill with some family and friends. I am looking forward to seeing walkers up close this Christmas break, pretty please Eastwood. :)))

  11. I'm a bit fan of the Walking Dead so I really want to try this kind of thrill but i didn't make it in here because of lack of time and I don't have money that time. Hope that this horror house would re-open next year or this holiday season for me to try this fun thriller. TWD is a popular tv series so maybe Eastwood would give me another chance to have some thriller day with Zombies!

  12. I'm not a fan of The Walking Dead but it looks so horrifying to go to a horror house like this. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to experience this kind of thrill due to busy schedules in school. TWD is so mainstream so I hope that next year or maybe this month, Eastwood will give a chance to those who failed to attend this kind of attraction.

  13. Along with every little thing that appears to be building within this particular area, many of your opinions are generally fairly radical. Nevertheless, I am sorry, but I do not subscribe to your whole strategy, all be it radical none the less. It looks to everyone that your remarks are generally not completely rationalized and in simple fact you are your self not even entirely convinced of the argument. In any case I did enjoy looking at it. The shining
