Pasay Business Conference 2014: Preparation, Business Linkages and Financing for ASEAN Integration
Wazzup Pilipinas!
As Pasay City business chamber prepares for the coming of the ASEAN Integration next year, it is high time to further discuss and share information on this. The Philippines should play an active role in pursuing the integration of Southeast Asian economies because many would like to find out if the country will benefit or suffer from the integration.
Though the country has comparative advantages that should make integration beneficial to Filipino businesses, there are critics who fear that the Philippines is not yet prepared for integration because the Philippines could lose out in a regime of tighter market competition in the region.
To help in the ASEAN Integration preparation, the first Pasay Business Conference was organized to benefit businesses who would like to get a better view of the issues. The conference will be held on November 25, 2014 at Heritage Hotel, Pasay City with the theme “Preparation. Business Linkages and Financing for Asean Integration," and aims to inform and educate the majority of Pasay City business owners on the concepts , best practices , do’s and don’t’s and further prepare for the Asean economic Integration.
Over 300 Pasay businessmen are expected to converge in this event to discuss topics in the program that will tackle ASEAN Integration in 2015.
The collaboration efforts with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)- National Capital Region (NCR), Philippines Chamber of Commerce Inc.; PCCI –National Capital Region , Pasay City Government and the PCCI-Pasay City is a clear symbol of unity towards cascading down to the mass business of Pasay City this coming business challenges and opportunities we have with our Asean fellowmen.
To be launched in the event is also the Awarding Ceremonies of the first “Pasay Leading Enterprise Excellence (PLEX)” Awards to honor outstanding taxpayers of Pasay City.
