Introducing the new Spotify for iPad
Wazzup Pilipinas!
We know that tablets are increasingly becoming the platform for home listening, so today we’re happy to bring our new look to iPad. It brings our dark theme, refreshed typography and rounded iconography that we’ve all fallen in love with on mobile and desktop. Playing your favourite music never looked so good.
We’re not only improving our looks though. Our data shows us that tablets are one the most popular platforms when it comes to discovering, curating and saving music. And we know that you’ve been looking for more ways of managing your music. So today we’re bringing Your Music to iPad: helping you save, organize and browse your favourite music the way you want to. Even while lying on the couch.
All in one place, and across all platforms. Building your personal music collection just got a lot easier.
● Content is king. Our new design looks even better on a big screen, and makes accessing your favourite music smoother than ever. The new dark theme and refined interface lets the content come forward and ‘pop’, just like in a cinema when you dim the lights.
● It’s Your Music collection. Save albums and flick through their beautiful cover art, gather your favourite artists and create playlists for every mood and moment. Found a song or album that you like? Just hit save to add it to your collection. It’s that simple.
● Different devices. Same great look. Regardless of whether you’re curating at home, listening on the go, or trying to make your workday go faster, you can now enjoy the same great look.
“Your Music is the perfect iPad feature,” says Dave Price, Director of Product at Spotify. “In fact, our users have been telling us that the tablet is one of their favourite devices when it comes to browsing, curating and saving music. And with our new design, our iPad users can enjoy the best-looking experience of any music service - one that’s easy to use and consistent across all devices.”
The new Spotify for iPad can be downloaded through the App Store.
Welcome to the dark side, iPad.
I'm already using Spotify on my iPad for almost a year and I really like it because it is updated with the new songs. I just updated this app on my iPad last week and I got in love with it because the new design looks so classy and cool. One thing that I like about Spotify is that it has a lot of playlist that you can choose to listen to that depends on your mood. Like for example, you feel so lonely and you want to listen to acoustic songs, they already have a playlist full of acoustic songs that you can listen to and you don't have to search for the title of the acoustic songs that you know one by one. They also have this playlist called focus where you can listen to it if you want to focus on your studying or on what you are doing. I just really love Spotify! :)
ReplyDeleteSpotify is a great app that was introduced to me by a friend. It really suits up my mood every time I do activities. Unfortunately, it only works when there is a wi-fi, meaning that only can only enjoy it in my house. But still, it is a great app that everyone should try :)
ReplyDeleteThis commercial music streaming service is really handy. You can stream music wherever you want and you can even get to choose what type of music can best suit your mood.
ReplyDeleteFortunately,Spotify released their own api package that allows software developers to write their own custom Spotify software. What does this mean? well the api will let you create custom software applications to interface with the Spotify client. buy spotify listeners
ReplyDeleteSo here are my thoughts:
ReplyDeleteSpotify Vs. Apple Music
- Podcasts on Spotify are great unless if you use another app like Overcast, then it doesn’t matter.
- You can play and pause across multiple devices on Spotify i.e. I can play on the iPhone and pause on my laptop etc.
- You can sort your playlists to latest added on Spotify unlike Apple Music, which I found to be super bizarre. I could sort it on my laptop but it didn’t transfer over to the phone.
- Apple Music had ever so slightly better sound quality
- Apple Music has lyrics but I think Spotify US is the only one that doesn’t
- Spotify UI > Apple UI any day
- All the people atleast I know use Spotify so it’s fun to create collaborative playlists with them.
I’ll be using Spotify going forward. Hope this helps.
In most cases, many services to increase listening on Spotify or playback there are fake, not providing any sensible service. But SongLifty proved me wrong. I tried the service, go now, and it really worked and my song listening is increasing very fast and I am happy about it. That's my experience. It's worked for me. It's up to you guys whether you want to use their service or not.
