Asian Carmakers Corporation (ACC), the official importer and distributor of BMW in the Philippines, is set to make waves at the 5th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) with a world-class exhibition of its exceptional clan of Sport Activity Vehicles – the BMW X Series.
Held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from September 18 to 21, 2014, the 5th PIMS is home to the BMW X Pavilion where guests can experience a journey of endless explorations with the complete model range of BMW X vehicles, composed of the new BMW X1 M Sport Edition, the new BMW X3, the all-new BMW X5 M Sport Edition, the BMW X6 Sport Activity Coupe and the latest addition to the lineup, the first ever BMW X4.

The first ever BMW X4 is the first Sport Activity Coupe in the premium mid-size SUV segment. It is a perfect blend of BMW’s hallmark features, combining both lifestyle and performance. The BMW X4 merges the quintessential power of the X Series and the elegant aesthetics of a classic coupĂ©.
The BMW X4 is based on the technical blueprint of the BMW X3 and displays a sporting character of its own. To maximize the vehicle’s visual presence on the road, it possesses large air intakes on the outer edges of the front end, character lines in the front apron, and the signature BMW twin xenon headlights and front LED fog lamps. It takes driving dynamics to a whole new level underlined by a wide range of cutting-edge high-performance engines, the xDrive all-wheel-drive system and an exclusive spread of standard equipment features such as variable sport steering, Performance Control and a sports leather steering wheel with gearshift paddles.
To further assert the brand’s dominance in the luxury vehicle market, ACC also introduces the new BMW X3 at the 5th PIMS. Since its introduction in 2003, the BMW X3 has been the best selling model in the luxury mid-size SUV segment. Today, the new BMW X3 is set to further strengthen its leadership in its class. Equipped with the latest BMW TwinPower Turbo diesel engines, the new BMW X3 produces more power but burns less fuel thereby improving dynamic performance and reducing pollutant emissions. The exterior and interior designs also reveal stylistic revisions that add further depth to customers’ demand for versatility.
The new BMW X3 embodies a more powerful figure with its new, modified twin circular headlights integrated with a more eye-catching kidney grille, new front and rear bumpers, and exterior mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators – shining an even brighter spotlight on signature BMW X model design features.

Guests at the 5th PIMS will also have the opportunity to preview the limited edition X1 sDrive 18d M Sport and X5 xDrive 30d M Sport which boast premium M Sport Package features like the M Aerodynamics Package, M Sport Steering Wheel and Sport Seats. These elements come together seamlessly to give the vehicles a much more dynamic and sporty appeal.
To complete the powerful BMW X family, the BMW X Pavilion will also showcase the range-topping BMW X6. Known for its irresistible allure, intoxicating performance attributes and innovative luxury, the BMW X6 continues to hold its ground as the only Sports Activity Coupe in its class.
