Master Philippines under Unilever, together with MRM/McCann as the organizing group, invited selected basketball communities to a Master Game Face exclusive launch this May 31, 2014 6:30pm at Skinny Mike’s Sports Bar located at 32nd St. corner Justice Drive, Bonifacio Global City.
After a hearty meal, where my favorite was the pizza and pasta dishes, MRM/McCann started the night with some videos referring to the Master Game Face Challenge, and the introduction of a representative from Master Philippines who shared with us more details about the campaign. His colleague further ignited the flaming interests with more facts about the game app og which Master Philippines is promoting on Facebook.
Since Skinny Mike's is well-known for quiz nights, it was expected that the main activity of the night will be to challenge our brain cells for some hard-hitting questions. Attendees were asked to form ourselves into a minimum of three, and a maximum of five, and come up with a team name to join a challenging quiz night filled with a lot of basketball trivia.
Who would have thought we would win 2nd place? I was actually expecting our group to be the grand winner since our lead boss man of the group is a real basketball fanatic who eat, breathe and sweat sports coverages especially basketball. The five of us would have scored the highest if not for some technical difficulties and disadvantages - There was a question where you needed to tweet the answer, and first to tweet will gain a whopping five points. Too bad we're not Twitter-skilled speedsters with handy Wi-Fis on hand. The resto's Wi-Fi was not working that night so we failed to send in our tweets.
But winning a jersey, a shirt and some Master face care products was definitely great news already for our team of five. Topped it off with some San Mig Light to end the night and we're all too good for the rest of the weekend.
The leading men's skin care and face care brand is holding the biggest basketball face-off this June 21, 2014 called “The Master Game Face All-Star Challenge”! This event will be the ultimate all-star basketball game between two teams composed of the hottest players in Philippine basketball today. It will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. They've also announced popular Kevin Love to be a special guest during that epic event.
With basketball players that are from the NCAA, the UAAP, and PBA led by designated hunky team captains Marc Pingris and Chris Tiu, the face-off will definitely be more interesting.
We will also be able to complete our dream team in the Master Game Face Challenge voting app on Facebook. We can choose between Team Chris and Team Marc and draft our own players to complete the lineup for the team we are rooting for!

We definitely put our #MasterGameFace on, in this huddle/get-together for the game that most of us Filipinos really love, basketball.
