Miss Philippines Earth candidates will be visiting Mabuhay Restop tonight May 10, 2014 Saturday, the eve of the coronation night before the winners are crowned at the SM Arena Mall of Asia complex in Pasay City. The charming and adorable ladies will be there to have a relaxing dinner and to watch the musical travel show Manila Vanilla that was written and directed by Nestor U. Torre with music by Maestro Ryan Cayabyab.  The show will start at 7 pm but I suggest you be there earlier to get better seats.

The GET Philippines Comet electronic jeepney  will also be there for everyone to see. This is the same vehicle that US President Barack Obama inspected during his recent visit in the Philippines.

The City Optimized Managed Electric Transport (COMET) e-jeep, designed by US-based Pangaia Motors, LCC, on display at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel in Pasay. The exclusive distributor is Global Electric Transportation (GET), a partnership of both American and Filipino private investors. "It was built primarily to replace [jeepneys]," said GET Philippines country manager Anthony Dy.

Now this is bound to be truly fun as we will all see beauty and technology while we enjoy watching the Manila Vanilla show!

The Manila Vanilla show is a unique musical-comedy travel show. A family's hilarious preparations to open a bed & breakfast pave the way for a fun evening of Philippine pop-cultural entertainment. It features Andy Bais, Celine Fabie, Astarte Abraham and Edward Fernandez.
