The Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival 2014 has posted its 3rd announcement featuring a lot more local bands added to its already spectacular list of performing artists!

New additions are: Cocojam, Similar Objects, Toto Delgado, Crowns Down, Late Session II, Mellow Submarine, Unlimited Rise and DJ’s Gavin Boyd, Hallex M, Liquid A, Mikail and Japoy! 

We are really so excited to join the festival on February 27 up to March 3, 2014. Let's all celebrate music, arts and nature at the Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival! 


  

They've also announced the roster of visual artists. The organizers are excited to add more members to the Malasimbo family. Check out the many art installations at the sculpture garden during the day and at night for an equally great experience!

Environmental Movements: Plastic Free Community and Reforestation! 

Plastic cups are banned at the festival grounds and all the attendees are encouraged to pick up after themselves. Lets support the collective movement of sustaining our heritage.

#Malasimbo2014 is beyond music & the arts. They are focusing energy on environmental & social maturation. Reforestation in Puerto Galera is one of their many projects.

2011 - Planted 1000 trees.
2012 - Supported the reforestation of mangroves.
2013 - Tree planting initiatives set for Earth Day 
Malasimbo Music and Arts Festival  is also collaborating with MyShelter Foundation: Isang Litrong Liwanag (Liter of Light) for the illumination on the grounds of Mount Malasimbo. Liter of Light is an ecological electric light source made of bottles with purified water and bleach that refract light into the rooms.
