AIESEC Philippines: Hosting the Asia Pacific Youth to Business Forum 2014
Wazzup Pilipinas!
Pioneered in the country by international student-run organization AIESEC in the summer of 2013, the Youth to Business Forum (Y2B) poses with a bigger and more global comeback this March 24, 2014 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Aura, Taguig City.
Still presenting a unique avenue for the youth and business sector to discuss and collaborate on ideas for prevailing social issues, Y2B aims to create concrete solutions that will build a more sustainable future for the Asia Pacific region.
This time around, the youth forum will tackle matters of Value-based Leadership and its capacity to engineer social change through collective action with the help of the business sector.
The youth is encouraged to take on a proactive disposition on the development and alignment of personal values that would create opportunities for both individual and region productivity.
A total of 500 students from over 21 countries of Asia Pacific are invited to join the one-day forum with various talks, discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities with some of the greatest thought leaders of the commercial industry.
Workshops on Social Media, Transparency, Corporate Responsibility, Innovation, Leadership, and Social Entrepreneurship will be given by some of the country’s prestigious companies.
The Filipino and Asia Pacific youth is highly encouraged to join the event to bring different perspectives and insights from different countries in the forum and generate new ideas that will foster a better Asian region for the rest of the world to witness.
At the Asia Pacific Y2B, we’re not concerned with what business can teach you, we expose you to what business can do for the world.
Registration is free and will run until March 7, 2014. For more details visit http://philippinesY2B.com and like them on Facebook: http://facebook.com/philippinesY2B.
Asia Pacific Y2B, like the Global Youth Summit and International Youth Leaders Conference, is among the several forums and conferences organized by AIESEC to provide the innovators of tomorrow leadership opportunities that instil active societal participation with a global mindset.
Asia Pacific Y2B is part of the Asia Pacific Congress (APC), AIESEC’s largest regional conference with hundreds of international delegates from all over the globe. APC will be hosted this year by AIESEC Philippines with the hope of initiating the leadership engagement of every young person in the world.
The youth conference is made possible by Deutsche Post DHL, Bank of the Philippine Islands, Citibank, Metrobank, Mcdonald’s, Megaworld, Accenture, BLESS Microfinance Corporation, Universal Robina Corporation, and Gardenia. It is co-presented by Fox International Channels, in cooperation with Rappler, InterAksyon.com, Manila Bulletin, Dreamlist.ph, WhenInManila.com, ClicktheCity.com, and Wazzup Pilipinas.
