Wazzup Pilipinas!
Filipinos are truly creative....even in naming their children.
Last December, when the University of the Philippines released their UP College Admission Test (UPCAT) results, we saw one name that was quite odd and thought it was some sort of clerical error. Later we found out that it was confirmed correct as per Facebook post of Sincerely Yours 98 herself.
Yes! You've read it right! Sincerely Yours 98 it is! Truly for short!
Sincerely Yours 98 Pascual or Sincerely Pascual on her Facebook page is actually the third among three siblings with very unusual names given to them by their parents. Their father was the one responsible in giving the "yummy" food names to them composed of his kuya names Macaroni 85 and her ate Spaghetti 88.

I named all three of my kids with names beginning with the letters H and K when we started my first born with those letters. With no particular reason only because we thought it would be easier to follow a pattern and I thought it would be cool since we can all call them HK Del Rosario.
I never knew we are now allowed to give names of food to people. It's going to be a splendid naming game once others are made aware of this. Don't you wish you were born during this time so your parents could have given you a very unique name that would help the NBI process take an easier time in releasing your clearances?
Sincerely Yours 98 sister is already married and what is quite funnier was her ate Spaghetti 88 Revisa even named their baby as Cheese Pimiento.

...and based from her Facebook page, I think they will be naming their next baby as Chippy. Lol!
I am curious to what the others will be naming their children, and grand children, in the near future. So I'm going to be following the turn of events of this clan.
This is definitely a happy and turning out to be a very "yummy" family.
After cheese pimiento or chippy
ReplyDeleteNext to him is Parmesan cheese or peewee.
