Wazzup Pilipinas!
The ancient art of origami (from ori meaning "folding”, and gami meaning "paper") is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, which started in the 17th century AD at the latest and was popularized outside of Japan in the mid-1900s. It has since then evolved into a modern art form. The goal of this art is to transform a flat sheet of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques.
Thankfully no paper cuts today, as I was making origami with my siblings. I was pretty chuffed to have taught myself how to make a crane (embarrassingly, It took me 10 minutes or so), a whale and even some cute wee pandas, and I’m still in awe of all the crazy things that people have made online using the origami technique! All I can say is they must have tiny fingers and a lot of time and patience!

The younger kids made little pig and frog faces and had fun playing
puppets with them. Rovie and Lucky were pretty nimble fingered too and
made some animals from bright papers.
All in all, I really enjoyed this mini origami project. I hope I can make origami-s (probably with more complicated designs) with my friends next time. There really is no better way to increase the skill and dexterity in your fingers than by folding paper into intricate designs.
Origami has long been appreciated as a beautiful form of art. Folding is only a small part of this fascinating art form. The benefits gained from folding models are very valuable. This kind of Activity gives an opportunity to make creative designs and figures and it is also a source of Entertainment and enjoyment. Origami is becoming a very important activity that has many useful benefits and it is a great hands-on activity.
