Wazzup Pilipinas!
Shhhhh!!! Please do not disturb!
Hashtag StaycationForTwo is a well-deserved break from the hectic and busy life in the Metro. My wife and I spent a weekend Staycation at One Pacific Place Serviced Residences located in the center of Makati city's business district.
It was a well-deserved break from all the hassles and stress brought by our everyday obligations at home and at work.
Staycations are becoming popular nowadays where you just stay at a hotel and indulge on the facilities of the place like hang out and swim at the pool area located at the 6th floor (opens as early as 7 am until 7 pm), or workout at their Gym (also on the same floor and open as early as 6 am and closes at 8 pm), or just lie all day in bed in your room with a loved one wrapped in your arms while watching your favorite show on TV.
One Pacific Place offered more than just their LED TV with cable channels. They also had a DVD player connected to the television if you want to have a movie marathon, and at their study table was an iPhone docking station where you can use it to play your music playlist and enjoy a relaxing day with your sound tripping...If you are the online kind of person, their wi-fi Internet access is very strong everywhere except inside the elevators. The room we stayed (Room 3101) at the 31st floor offered a view of the buildings from Buendia Avenue onwards up to what the eyes can see. It has fabulous amenities better than what I've seen in most hotels. This is the first time I've seen bathrobes available. It also has a sink at one side of the room aside from the one in the bathroom. The sink counter-top also houses below a personal fridge containing drinks, and on top of the counter are some snacks and chips that you can munch on but you'll have to pay later when you check-out. Complimentary bottled waters are also there plus some coffee, creamer, sugar and tea sachets together with a coffee pot you can use to heat up water for your coffee or tea.
Countertop table where there's a fridge plus other stuff on top.
The room given to us had two very comfy beds plus two pillows for each bed. We rearranged the beds side by side so we could make use of a wider bed space for my wife and I. There were also bed lamps if you read your books in bed.
Plates, mugs, glasses, bottled waters, plus...Nagaraya!!!
LED TV monitor with cable channels plus a DVD player
The bathrobes hang inside the closet where you could also find a few hangers, two pairs of slippers and laundry bags, plus a safe to keep your valuables.
It also contained a safe for your valuables if you want to leave them in your rooms especially if you workout at the gym or dip in the pools.

An iPhone docking station speaker system so you can play music from your iPhone.

Safety first! They have a fire extinguisher inside the rooms!Magnificent!
A study table was nearby where the iPod dock rested plus a lamp post if you plan to do some reading while sitting.
The bathroom is complete with amenities like hairdryers, a rain shower, and toiletries that include even toothbrushes, combs and shavers. I was hoping for a bathtub for some bubble bath but sorry, there was none.
We deserve to unwind and drop everything that has something to do with our work.It is highly recommended to leave our mobile phones and any means of communication so we will not be tempted to check on our pending tasks.
Life is so short to neglect an opportunity to pamper ourselves. We should find time to pause for awhile and enjoy a few days with no worries.
We should be able to look back and say that we did our best in our daily responsibilities - and also enjoyed the rewards substantially. We should live a meaningful life with no regrets.
Always remember that everything that made you laugh and smile should be the only memories to keep and cherish. Let us find more reasons to be happy.
Watch out for more of my stories about our staycation for two at One Pacific Place Serviced Residences.
Part two will be written soon!
