Alyz Henrich : Congratulations to Miss Earth 2013

Congratulations again to the new Miss Earth 2013 Alyz Henrich @HenrichAlyz as she sends us her Holiday greetings. It's only a few days away until Christmas day and we sure are glad to be celebrating it with the new Ambassador for the welfare of the Earth.

There were many questions that were answered ubiquitously that caused my eyebrows to raise and left my mouth open wide in awe. I don't know if the contestants were just lost in the translation or their nerves were just too stressed out, but what really struck me was: "Aside from climate change, what is the biggest threat to Mother Earth?" Miss Thailand: "Human behavior affects the whole world." So True.

Mother Earth hates the stupid question : "A month after Yolanda struck the country, how do you think Mother Earth feels now?" Duh?!

Thew pageant was held last December 7 at Versailles Alabang in Las Pinas and started at around 8 pm.

The final results are:

Miss Air - Miss Austria
Miss Water - Miss Thailand
Miss Fire - Miss Korea
Miss Earth - Miss Venezuela

Miss Philippines Angelee Claudette delos Reyes made it until the top 8 of the list. Congratulations also for winning bronze in both the evening gown  and Miss Photogenic competition.
