Wazzup Pilipinas!
MaSKay is now accepting short film entries for the 3rd Halo-Halo Independent Film Festival(HHIFF 2013). Deadline is on October 31, 2013.
Halo-Halo Independent Film Festival (HHIFF) is now on its third year. An event aiming to provide opportunities, encouraging interested people who have undying passion for filmmaking and the arts. It serves as an outlet to express and a venue to showcase talents through films.
The 3rd Halo-Halo Indie Film Festival shares a different viewing pleasure from its pilot run two years ago, where people comfortably watch films while dining with friends and families. Showcasing various short films in narrative, documentary, animation, music video, experimental and other genres produced by Filipino students and filmmakers both amateur and professionals.
Halo-Halo 3 breaks the stiffening impression of a distant
stage, where the films, the filmmakers and the audience get to easily
engage and communicate with each other. And because we value the
participation of our filmmakers and audience, we will be having an
“Audience Choice” award where the film viewers will pick their favorite
film among the entries in the film festival.
The 3rd Halo- Halo Independent Film Festival (HHIFF 2013) is not a competition but rather an exhibition of different short film/ videos initiated by Malayang Sining- Kayumanggi Productions, Inc. (MaSKay), an organization that strives to support, encourage, inspire budding artists and provide alternative venue to showcase Filipino talents and skills in film making and other performing arts.
