GEORGE TAPAN 1:00 to 3:00 PM USEFUL TIPS FOR TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY
Internationally award winning master photographer George Tapanhas won two Pacific Asia Tourism Association (PATA) Gold awards, an ASEAN Tourism Association award and first place in the 2011 National Geographic Photo Contest. He has worked for the Department of Tourism and Philippine Airlines and has published 5 travel photography books. He will talk about the essentials of travel photography and useful tips to create beautiful landscape shots.

RHONSON NG 3:00 to 5:00 PM OUTDOOR AND ADVENTURE
Rhonson Ng is an award-winning photographer who has worked for the Department of Tourism XI. This avid mountaineer has scaled the toughest peaks in the country, is a spelunker with cave photography skills, a diver and an adventure trekker, and has explored the most remote tribal villages in the highlands. He is most known for his extreme outdoor images which graced the covers and spreads of international magazines like Mabuhay Magazine, Action Asia Magazine, Discovery HK, and other travel magazines. His images are also in the DOT campaign of It’s More Fun in the Philippines. He will be sharing techniques and gears to use for outdoor and adventure photography and how to deal with ethnic minorities for good portraits.

KYLE STANLEY 5:00PM to 7:00 PM SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHY
Capturing sporting events is all about the action and drama, using these elements to tell the sports story. You must be ready at every second so that nothing is missed. Knowing where the best action will take place and how the lighting in this area is, will provide you the best opportunity for capturing the event. Having an eye to see the drama in the athletes face or motion of the race car are important elements telling the story of the event captured through your lens. Come and listen to Sports Photographer Kyle Stanley talk about the world of Sports Photography and gain insight as to how you will capture your next sporting event.

A graduate of Art Center College of Design (Pasadena, California), Mark Floro has been doing advertising/commercial photography for over 30 years. Although he is known for his lighting and mouth-watering food shots, he also specializes in architectural, industrial, and on-location challenges. Being from the “old school,” his philosophy is simply “Get it right the first time”. This renowned food photographer cooks up a generous serving of professional techniques and trade secrets for making pictures look good enough to eat. Even the finest cuisine is like a beautiful model: it, too, must be made up, prepped, and lit properly to look good in a photo. This is a whole day affair and a hands-on workshop.

Raymond Cruz is a freelance graphic designer and photographer who specializes in landscape and advertising photography. In this workshop Raymond teaches you techniques that allow you to expand your photographic skills and start to develop your own creative styles that express your own individual approach to print and other media, both colored and black and white.

Known for his niche, portraits and cinematic shots, Parc Cruz’ photos carry a distinctive and recognizable style, which has inspired other hobbyists to emulate. The lessons he impartin his workshops are known to be unorthodox, but easy to follow. Students are taught no magic, but to take advantage of the tools of digital photography properly. He is also a privileged part of Nikon's pool of endorsers and has since traveled around, imparting and encouraging other photo hobbyists to develop their creativity through visual images.Parc Cruz will discuss the proper and best way to manipulate light for your fashion portrait portfolios and how you can incorporate the techniques in your own work.

SHOOTING DESTINATION WEDDINGS

Oly Ruiz will discuss the actual shoots, shooting concepts, equipment line-up and setup. How to extract unique and stylish images out of a location that seemed to have nothing. He’ll share and shows all the gears he use and WHEN AND WHERE he use them and what could be your cheaper alternative.
