The Last Year For Every Juan!

Wazzup Pilipinas!

At Pasig City Science High School, August was a very special date for every August in our school was Pistang Pinoy. It is a celebration for Buwan ng Wika, so how to celebrate this event?

Each and every one of us were required to wear Barongs, Marongs, Filipiniana, and anything related to Filipino traditional wear. We brought Filipino foods for a simple gathering and ate it simultaneously.

Before that gathering was a awarding for the best student that participates for the event. Luckily, some of my classmates got hold of those prizes.

What's fun about Pistang Pinoy? Read on!

This was the time that all of the sixth batch 4th year gets to celebrate their last Pistang Pinoy together.

We also have a roaming ice cream that was available for all.

As seen in the picture, the space was so minimal, but it is not about the space, it is about the bond and the great time we had together.

There are more events to come, and I won’t miss it.

  2. As we know that every august we celebrate the so called "buwan ng wika". It is where we recall the history of our language, and it's importance to us. As a student of pcshs we really enjoyed having the pistang pinoy, not only for the fact that it's all about the "buwan ng wika" but also we'd like to enjoy and celebrate it willingly. Bonding and learning are present in the ocassion. And also the foods, being a truly pinoy we share and bring our foods. I hope this tradition will be continued from the rest of the upcoming batch. A lot of fun, really!

  3. This is indeed very enjoying. This is a fun way of celebrating our Buwan ng Wika. Well, it bores us when we always do our routine, right? This is a very good example to alter our routines during this month. Instead of always having balagtasan, traditional dances and etc., why don't we have Pistang Pinoy for a change? It's worth the change because you will be able to taste different food in our country. It isn't about foods anyway. We have also different games. And it is worth having for. :)))
