Senator Franklin Drilon Says He Will Lead the Abolition of the PDAF in the Senate

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Did I hear that right?

Senate President Franklin Drilon has proclaimed his intention to lead and promote to the members of  the Senate the abolition of the highly controversial Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) or most commonly known as the "pork barrel" fund.
"I will lead the Senate in the abolition of the PDAF."
This warranted an applause from the majority, if not all of the audience, present during the 50th Annual Conference of the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) celebrating their golden year with a three-day event composed of many activities for the HR practitioner delegates sent by the many companies and organizations doing business in the Philippines.

The event was also graced by a lot of notable top and popular personalities from both government and private sectors.

  1. There are pros and cons if there will be an abolition that will happen. But whatever it is we all hope for the better. I hoped that they will serve us right and keep senator Drilon his promise.

  2. I think this will be great because there is a connection within the senate. I hope that Senator Drilon would keep his word and be able to help to abolish PDAF.
