Travel Foto Explorer presents yet another awesome travel adventure and photography workshop with the country’s top photographers, George Tapan (Master Travel Photographer) Ibarra Deri (Master Portrait Lensman), Rhonson Ng (Master Adventure Photographer) and Nikko Taytay (Multi-Awarded Photographer).

Join them in exploring and photographing the T’boli culture and Lake Sebu’s natural wonders.

Lake Sebu in South Cotabato, one of the top tourism destinations of Region 12, is famous for its three scenic natural lakes Lahit (24 hectares), Seloton (48 hectares) and Sebu (354 hectares). Lake Sebu is home to seven waterfalls, natural springs with preserved cultural communities of the town's colorful and gentle T'boli tribe. It is situated at an elevation of 1000 feet, so it's naturally cool up there. It is dubbed as the Summer Capital of Southern Philippines.


Two years ago, the provincial government of South Cotabato launched a P100-million tourism development project funded by the local government that is mainly focused on road development networks and the establishment of resort facilities for the town's seven waterfalls.

Cable and ziplines provide exhilarating adventures for those who are brave enough to zip from falls to falls while looking down at the breathtaking panorama. Beyond these developments, however, the place remains to be enchanting, serene and magical.

Travel Foto Explorer will take you to the destination and guide you to optimal sites to ensure that you take home quality images. Facilitators will be there to give informal talks, tips, portfolio reviews and critique sessions.

Day 1 Oct. 13,2013
Participants from Manila will arrive at the airport in the morning. Van transfer to Mountain Lake Eco Resort in Lake sebu
Participants from Davao will meet at SM Lanang (bus will leave at 7am in the morning)
12:00 NN meet and greet the with participants and workshop speakers for Lunch
1:00 PM briefing and tips from the masters before the photoshoot
3:00 PM all partcipants will take a guided tour in a boat cruise around Lake Sebu
5:00 PM sunset shoot around Lake Sebu
6:00 PM back to hotel to freshen up
7:00 PM dinner and get together
7:30 PM start of the Seminar headed by Nikko Taytay and Rhonson Ng


DAY 2 Oct. 14,2013
5:30 AM sunrise shoot along the lotus pond and villagers of Lake Sebu
7:00 AM Back to Hotel for Breakfast
8:00 AM Freshen Up
8:30 AM Departure for 7 waterfalls
9:00 AM Photo shoot with Tboli Tribes
Zipline rides fee will be shoulder by participants (a chance to shoot aerial view of the lush forest and waterfalls
10:00 AM Portrait Shoot with Ibarra Deri and George Tapan
12:00 NN Lunch at the Waterfalls
2:00 PM Cultural Immersion Tour
Tboli house, Cultural Presentation, Tboli tribes and children
6:00 PM Back to Hotel and freshen up
6:30 PM Dinner
7:30 PM Seminar from Ibarra Deri and George Tapan
9:00 PM Awarding of attendance of certificates for all the delegates
9:30 PM It’s party Time


Day 3 October 15,2013
7:00 AM participants and speakers from Manila will go to Gensan Airport for departure
10:00 AM Vans awaiting the departure of participants from Davao
