Collecticon 2013 at Robinsons Place Manila : Collectibles to the Extreme!
Wazzup Pilipinas!
There was so much stuff at the Collecticon 2013 "bazaarista" event held at the Robinsons Place Manila Midtown Atrium last September 20 to 21!
It was supposed to be a three-day event with a third day scheduled on Sunday September 22, 2013 but was cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances to give way to an in-house mall event. The organizers have shared their deepest apologies for the very short notice of cancellation.
Regardless of the cancelled third day, many were lusting for those Gundam kits and those little pink Zakus. Many also checked out those Manic Panic jars!
Several toy items were available for bidding for as low as a few pesos too low to be called lunch money. Thousands of toys were all over the venue with various price ranges. If you are truly a collector, you will be able to identify which among the toys are real "collectibles".
There was also a Maxicollector Toys & Collectibles On-The-Spot Toy Photo Contest at Collecticon 2013. All you had to do was snap a photo of the Play Imaginative Iron Man figures displayed at Maxicollectors Booth and submit/upload the photo online at Maxicollector's Facebook Wall Page at https://www.facebook.com/Maxicollector.
Due to the cancellation of Day 3 of Collecticon wherein the winners were supposed to be announced and awarded, the organizers have adjusted the rules and date of submission of entries. Final date of submission of entries was changed to 5 pm Saturday, September 21. The wWinners were announced Saturday Night. Prizes were available for claiming after the announcement at the Collecticon 2013 or the week after at Maxicollector’s Heroes Branch.
Majin buu and Naruto toys were available at the Akibahara Toy Shop's booth.
