"Here's the photo of Ateneo coach Bo Perasol (in blue polo shirt) pointing to a La Salle fan (center) while being restrained during an incident following the UAAP Season 76 game between the Blue Eagles and the De La Salle Green Archers. Photo by Brosi Gonzales." - ABSCBNNews.comCoach is that a good example to your players?!. It's just part of the game. Bawal pikon... Sport lang.. Coach ka pa naman. Tsk!
Coach Bo Perasol should know better to attack a fan and more so a referee. Perasol lost it for Ateneo. Not the players! A coach acting and talking like a thug is unacceptable. Perasol is a former PBA coach, you think he hasn't heard worse? C'mon be a professional, hecklers are part of the game! You don't need to confront them.
Kapag coach ka, di ka pwede pumatol sa fans. Coach always told their player to have good sportsmanship but how come this coach acted like an idiot?! He should take a leave of absence and think about it. Ateneo should fire this coach...unbecoming of a coach, no class and very unsportsmanlike!
Being cool and composed is the mark of a true gentleman and sportsman... tsk tsk tsk... The coach's actions were unwarranted and unnecessary.
Coach wag ganyan... your conduct is unbecoming of an Atenean. If you go against La Salle, expect a really heated game... kaya you should compose yourself.
Remember you caused us the game, your tech wiith La Salle up by two really hurt us. I know your a good coach but I dont think with your demeanor is a good fit with the Jesuits way.
Judgement is not the issue here, it's restraint. Regardless of what the heckler said or did against him, he should have acted in full restraint, period. Hindi por que coach na siya, iba-brazo niya ang authority niya. Regardless to which side or school he is coaching for, he is setting a bad example to the rest. A school highly regarded for its intellectual achievements, such behavior is not acceptable even to the members of the academe.
This is what makes the Ateneo - La Salle rivalry so interesting to watch! This rivalry between ADMU & DLSU reminds me so much of the Lakers-Celtics rivalry. Russell vs. Chamberlain. West vs. Cousy. Magic vs. Bird. Kobe vs. Pierce.
Earlier we said that it is unacceptable for a coach to act like a thug. What about the thugs? Are their actions acceptable? Do we really have go to these games and listen to all the kabastosan from both sides?
This is one reason why I sometimes hate basketball. Dirty game, Dirty mouth!
