Blog Reviews : Blatant Honest-to-Goodness Versus Sugar-Coated Half-Truths
Wazzup Pilipinas!
SURVEY, SURVEY lang pag may time:

The article above was solicited out from discussions among netizens. I'm sure even the celebrities and artists will agree with the article...They most probably just keep silent because they are earning well from the opportunity.
I felt everything in the article was an honest reflection of the many TV shows sprouting like mushrooms and sort of dumbing the masses with low-budget silliness. Are we making our blog a threat to those concerned or involved in low-quality productions? Are we afraid we are going to lose patronage of our readership, or even sponsorship (no more invites?), if we write a hate article for something we truly hate? or should people commend us for being frank and vulgar in our reviews?
We would like to issue an informal statement for those who are questioning why we are posting negativity in our blog.
As what the Inquirer says : "Balanced News, Fearless Views". Their writers, columnists and editors have courageously published articles and headlines that are sensational and controversial.
If we are only going to post positive things, and leave out the negative ones just because we want to keep everyone as friends, then that makes us liars and cheaters sacrificing our own integrity.
We will become no different from the two-faced corrupt politicians who smiles and promises a lot of extravagance and opportunities only to disappoint us after they get elected. They are the ones who try to brainwash people in thinking that everything happening around us is great and that they are in total control of the situation when in reality they really do not know what the hell they are doing (but are fully aware on how to spend our hard-earned taxpayers' money on their personal "operational expenses".
Spell transparency!
"Walang Kinikilingan, Walang Pinoprotektahan, Walang Kasinungalingan, Serbisyong Totoo Lamang"
We have a responsibility to our readers to tell them what we feel and to tell them exactly how it is. No sugar-coating, no false pretenses,..... below-the belt if necessary, just to prove a point and be noticed!
We should not hide our emotions even in writing.... We should let them know if we are satisfied with a product, service or person, and honestly tell them if we are disappointed, furious and going berserk (to exaggerate).
We owe our readers the honest facts .... and it's up to them to agree or disagree with us (personal taste varies from one person to the next)....and to "unfollow" or "unlike" us if they want otherwise.
"Panig Sa Katotohanan, Panig Sa Pagbangon ng Bayan"
If you were me, would you be giving your readers reviews that are blatant and honest-to-goodness?..... or be kind enough to give sugar-coated half-truths?
If we decide to maintain everyone as friends at all costs by only sharing positive things and hiding the bad ones, then we are betraying our own moral principles and becoming liars and cheaters.
