Crunchy Shrimp Roll Sushi!

Ama-Ebi Sushi

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Are you a food lover? I guess we all love foods, right? I'll just be specific. Do you like shrimp? I really really like shrimps! We usually eat cooked shrimps, right? Have you ever wondered what is it like to eat raw fish?

I was thinking of that last night so I decided to search for a Japanese cuisine that is composed of raw shrimp. I chose the Ama-Ebi sushi. I researched some information about Ama-Ebi sushi. I found out that the kind of shrimp used for this sushi is the deep-water shrimp that will grow to about four inches.

I also found out that the word amaebi is a direct translation of sweet shrimp. The shrimp is served in nigiri style. It means that the head and shell are removed, meat is partially cut down to the middle, the central vein removed, and for the final touch, the meat is laid across a small oblong portion of sushi rice.

And there! You already have an Ama-Ebi sushi. Now that you know some information about the Ama-Ebi sushi, would you like to try this sushi? For me, I would definitely like to try this!

Not all of us would like to taste raw shrimps, right? So, I also researched on some sushi that doesn't require raw shrimps instead it uses cooked shrimps. It is called the Crunchy Shrimp Roll Sushi. If you are interested to know on how to make this kind of sushi, I researched on how to make this sushi.
