Tabeyou!

Ramen Bar

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Today, there are so many ramen restaurants popping out in the metro, you just can't figure out where to go. But of course, we take note of where to find a great tasting authentic ramen places without leaving a big dent on your wallet, and Ramen Bar is definitely on that list.

Ramen bar is really awesome, not just because it serves up authentic good ramen, but it's also a nice place to hang out with friends and family. Plus, it’s located in Eastwood Mall, so it’s very accessible to most people.

The setting is very casual, with the tables lined together in rows with no gaps between them. If you have drowned yourself in enough anime, then you would recognize that the vibe would emit some sort of 'sauna' setting which is kind of a bit odd. But anyways; it was cozy!

One thing I really liked about Ramen Bar is the food came within minutes, and there was always a server nearby, paying attention to the customers’ needs unlike other Japanese restaurants that would take years just to serve a single dish.

FOOD:

Shoyu Ramen (280.00)

Soy infused Tonkotsu Ramen topped with Tomago, Naruto, Negi, Chasyu. To tell you the truth, I am not actually a fan of noodles. But when I tasted this bowl of super delicious Japanese noodles, I became "slightly" obsessed. Hahaha! For 280 pesos, your gastronomic desires are satisfied to the fullest.

Yakiniku Beef Rice Topping (165.00)

Thinly sliced cuts of Sukiyaki Beef, bathed in a lightly sweet sauce and placed on top of a bowl of steaming hot white rice. So simple, yet so good. Between this and the pork, the Yakiniku was the better one.

Tempura Ice cream (150.00)

My sheer curiosity commanded me to order the Ice Cream Tempura. The vanilla ice cream is coated with tempura batter. It is not good by itself, so you need to dip it in the chocolate sauce. Nevertheless, it's an interesting dessert to try and a good way to wrap up your Ramen Bar experience.

OVERALL VERDICT:

Though Ramen Bar was created here in the Philippines, I don't think they will shame the Japanese cuisine with the dishes that they have. I really liked our dining experience here! There's room for improvement of course, but as it is, I think it will slowly pave its way into popularity here in the metro.

Prices are very reasonable, with the most expensive items costing P380.00! It’s a really good place for ramen, and I can’t wait to go back to try the other variants and the other dishes. This place is a must-try—it deserves the buzz it’s getting. Why don't you try them out for yourselves? Their ramen won't definitely disappoint you!
