Summer 2013 : Cavendish, UPCAT and Family Outing
Wazzup Pilipinas!
Summer vacation is a time for many people, especially students and employees, to relax, have fun and just enjoy life. But summer has two faces; some do have their happiest and unforgettable experiences but some consider their summer days just like a regular day with nothing to do.
My summer vacation starts when Cavendish, my section when I was in third year, decided to have our outing last March in the clubhouse of Parkwood Greens Executive Village, a village near our school. The clubhouse consists of a pool and a playground inside. And to be honest, their facilities is not that good, especially the comfort room. Though only few of us attended, we still had fun and enjoy the whole day swimming and playing in the pool.
Days after our outing, my mother and I went to Katipunan to enroll for review classes for entrance exam purposes. It was in expert guides review center. There, I thought my summer will just be boring because the review classes schedule is whole day. But I was wrong.
After 2 days of attending the review classes, I found new friends or my so-called review-mates. And because of them, attending sessions was not that boring at all. They teach me how to be friendly, and to communicate with other people though we only knew each other for not so long period of time. We always eat lunch together and share stories if there is free time. Twelve days past and we need to say our goodbye. But before anything else, we promise each other that we will still keep in touch by using social media.
Four days before summer classes’ end, we had an outing with our relatives in my mother side. My aunt rented a private pool named Resort Labranda in Pansol, Calamba Laguna for an overnight stay. The private resort has 2 pools, a kiddie pool and a hot spring. The house my tita rented is composed of 3 rooms, 1 tennis court and a billiard room. I think it’s our first time to have a family outing with my mother’s relatives. We enjoyed each other’s company by simply playing games in the pool and by food tripping. And of course picture taking will never be erased in the list.
Overall, my summer vacation is fun and enjoying. Bonding with my classmates, new friends and relatives is a blast. Summer truly depends on how you deal with what life brings you in the given duration of time.
It's nice to know that she spent her summer vacation not only for having fun with her family and classmates bur also in learning. Even though the fact that she's busy with her review, she managed to have a quality time with her family and classmates
