Wazzup Pilipinas!
My most favorite Japanese restaurant in the Philippines is Yoshinoya.
Yoshinoya can be found at the following places: Glorieta, Robinsons Galleria, SM City Manila, SM City North EDSA, SM Mall of Asia, and SM Megamall. The one I went to is in SM Megamall.
Yoshinoya is the largest beef bowl restaurant, founded by Eikichi Matsuda, and one of Japan's fast food chain that is established in 1899.
There’s something in particular about Yoshinoya that I really like. Whenever I walk in to this restaurant I feel, relaxed and comfortable, it feels much like home. When you first walk into the restaurant, the ambience is very light, and very welcoming. The color of the wall is very warm, and the furniture matches the description of ‘Yoshinoya’. The furnitures are made from wood, which is very nice. And since ’Yoshino’ is a place in Japan where the founder of the restaurant came from, and ‘ya’ means house.
But of course, it’s not only the place that is fascinating, the food as
well. When you eat a serving at Yoshinoya, you’ll really be taken to
Japan. I most certainly like their Gyudon or beef bowl. It consists of
strips of beef, onions, and rice. You’ll be excited to eat it, at the
very first sight since, you’ll see the beef strips together with the
onion. It is not only mouth-watering, but it tastes so good. The beef is
tender and juicy and it compliments with the onion. And the marinade
doesn’t overpower the taste of the beef, so it’s really balanced. Pair
it with the serving of their own red ginger, and I assure you, every
bite will taste amazing.
Other than, beef bowls, Yoshinoya, has a variety of foods to serve. Like, their Miso Soup, it’s very tasty compare to normal miso soups that we have. It is soya based and has tofu in it, thus it is very nutritious. And their tempuras, are just simply the best, and the sauce is what stands out in the dish. They also have, pork bentos, ramen, sushis, and many more to offer.
