Autostraddle.com, n American lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) website has named Filipino singer Charice as the world’s hottest lesbian.
Charice could not believe that she topped the list of the world’s hottest lesbians. She is only 21 years old but she has already come a long way since she joined the music industry starting with her joining the the ABS-CBN talent show “Little Big Star” in 2005. Charice said she is proud to represent the LGBT community.
“Wala akong masabi. Nung nakita ko yung list, talagang inuna from 105, nakita ko na No. 1. Malaking achievement na iyon,” she said.
“Nadagdagan ang confidence ko. I’m very flattered, honored and proud din for representing the LGBT. Thankful ako sa autostraddle,” she said.
Charice made local and international headlines after she admitted last June that she is gay. While she is not currently on good terms with her family, Charice said she feels "free" after coming out.

Charice is my number one idol in terms of singing. She didn't just excel in the Philippines but also in other countries. She already played a role at my favorite movie which is glee and she was once nominated in kid's choice awards. When I heard the gossips about Charice being a lesbian, I really do not believed at it even if I saw some of her pictures at facebook and instagram still I remained believing in what I thought was true but when I saw her interview at "The Buzz" I was really shocked and I admit I once been sad about it not because her being a lesbian but because I thought that it will be the start of her career's fall but my agony was wrong.Now she was even recognized by some websites and been trending all over the world. I think I should just be happy for her because she is free now and still having her showbiz career that is excelling. I admire her because of her braveness and still whatever happen she is still my number one idol in singing because her gender doesn't changed her voice.
ReplyDeleteIt's a pleasure to know that after Charice had came out of her closet there are still numerous people supporting her(which is honestly good). I hope more people would soon understand her. And I believe that Charice has made a great decision for it made her happier than ever.
ReplyDeleteCharice had been very brave in telling what she really is and being proud of it. I admire her for being happy even though some people are against her sexuality. It's nice that from having issues and problems, there she is right now, happy and contented with her life.
