Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live long ago? Where would we have live? And more intriguing, where would have the imperial family in the past lived? By continue reading this article you will find the answers to these questions.

Most imperial families choose to live in a vast, luxurious and very secured places. An example of these place is the Tokyo Imperial Palace. The Tokyo Imperial Palace is home to the head of state, and is where the Imperial Family lives. It is also the former site of the Edo Castle. Filled with gardens, ancient stone bridges, and museums, the Tokyo Imperial Palace is a beautiful, historical, and important cultural landmark in Japan.

Located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, the palace is like a park-like residence. The palace grounds including the gardens, covers an area of 7.41 square kilometers. In front of the Imperial Palace, visitors can see the Nijubashi, a two ancient stone bridges that lead to the inner palace grounds.

The Imperial East Gardens are open to the public, and stand at the foot of the hill where the foundation of the Edo Castle tower still remains. The gardens have a natural pond, with groomed trees and lush greenery. I think this place is very beautiful and relaxing, I can even picture myself standing on the bridge and looking at the relaxing view.

The Imperial family had a tradition of showing themselves to the public during January 2 and December 23 wherein they celebrate the Emperor's birthday and New Year. I guess standing in front of the glass window while many people below cheer and clapped at you makes you feel appreciated and loved. I just hope that the glass window is bulletproof to avoid any accidents and disaster.

If you would to go to Japan you should definitely visit the Tokyo Imperial Palace. The Imperial Palace Outer Garden and Imperial Palace East Garden are all open to the public and free of charge. If you want to visit the area around the palace itself, you need to make reservations in advance. Don't worry reservations may be made over the Internet. If I would go to Japan for vacation, the Tokyo Imperial Palace is definitely one of the places I will visit in Japan. How about you if you would be given a chance to go to Japan, what is the first place in Japan you would like to visit?

Did you know at the Disney Movie , The Cars 2, unlike the other races that take place during daytime, the Tokyo race takes place at night. The track is in the the town's streets and passes on the Rainbow Bridge and also past the Tokyo Imperial Palace.

We people nowadays prefer to go to places that has adventure than places that had been very important in the past. An example of these is the field trip instead of going to places that are educational they go to places like Star City and Enchanted Kingdom. I admit I'm one of those people but sometimes I also prefer to go to historical places. Visiting historical places like Tokyo Imperial Palace is very important not just because historical landmarks are very fascinating but also because by visiting you can experience and imagine what the previous people in the past had.

Thanks for reading. I hope you find Tokyo Imperial Palace a very historical and lasting beauty.
