Wazzup Pilipinas!
Get ready for another huge social media event soon brought to you by the same people who gave you the 1st Laguna Blogging Summit.
The 2nd Laguna Blogging Summit 2013 will be held this coming October 15 and 16 and will start at 8am to 5pm at the same venue where it was held last year. The Cultural Center of Laguna, located at the Municipality of Santa Cruz, the capital town of the province of Laguna under Governor Jeorge "ER" Ejercito, will play host once more to the 2nd run of the biggest blogging event in Laguna.
The 2nd Laguna Blogging Summit aims to make all Laguenos aware and more educated about Social Media and Digital Marketing, and will also promote the Tourism of Laguna. The organizers are bringing experts and notable speakers who are highly successful in their respective fields and advocacy programs to share useful strategies and tips to an expected bigger audience.
"The theme this year is Social Revolutionist, very appropriate for what's happening today through the proliferation of social media that's now integrated with our everyday activities. People are not only using Social Media to promote their products or services or just to hook up with their friends, they are also using it for political campaigns, advocacies and even job hunting. Social Media revolution is happening and we can see like-minded individuals gathering to form groups with the same beliefs through the use of Social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn and further continuing it offline. There are so many professionals and advocacy groups right now who were formed from Facebook accounts and hugely benefiting from it. We are bringing these experts to Laguna and we are hoping that my fellow Laguenos will learn from them." According to Engr. Grace Bondad Nicolas, the lead organizer of this event.
"This year, we added a new set of speakers like Carlos Celdran who is the new Manila Chief of Tourism, we are expecting that he will share his knowledge, expertise and experience of the effectiveness of Social Media in Tourism and him being the man who won a lot of awards because of his advocacy." Nicolas said.
This year, notable and famous speakers are again supporting the Laguna Blogging Summit, to name a few, they are Janette Toral, Alvin Cloyd Dakis, James Jimenez, Randell Tiongson, Pocholo De Leon Gonzales, Lloyd Luna and Eyriche Cortez.
"There's nothing more remarkable gesture these days than seeing collaborative efforts in flesh that made 1Labs possible. In a generation where Internet is no longer a source of pleasure but a source of information that can improve the lives of those who use it, such an event is commendable. 1Labs was a gathering of like-minded individuals whose passion for innovation is core and commitment to move the people closer to the wonder of technologies is evident."-- Motivational Blogger, Speaker, and Author Lloyd Luna of http://www.lloydluna.com/
"1LABS was a blast! I learned so much from both the speakers and the participants, that I think this should be a model of social media engagement for other local governments to follow. To make a long story short, I can't wait for the next one!" --COMELEC Director James Jimenez
