Venture the Beauty of Nature : An Experience at Daranak Falls

Every summer, many of us wants to go to places that can keep us cool. Like malls, hotels and etc., that we forget that we still have those spots that is pleasurable in sight, feeling, and in budget.

Last May 2013, we celebrated our Mother’s birthday at Daranak falls, Tanay Rizal. We had to wake up early for the long and exhausting trip. We prepared the foods and we’re ready to go!

We transported using a tricycle,and it took us almost two and a half hours just to get to out destination. But it was worth it .Surprisingly, the entrance fee was just twenty pesos per head.

As we entered, we saw many rocks - balanced in their own ways, small over large and large over small. Then we found out that the locals conducted a rock balancing competion last November 19, 2012. But many of the rock are just balanced by some of the tourist.

After the food preparation, we wondered around the stony place. And the highlight of all is the Daranak Falls which drops many tons of water from the top of approximately 30 feet tall boulder. And as we swum in the clear waters, we already knew, the fun had begun.

We often forget that happiness is not measured by how much money is spent for the experience, instead, experience defines our happiness.
