PETRONAS Proudly Presents Liquid and Metal in Action

A few nights ago, I attended an event organized by a wholly owned subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), the well-known national oil company of Malaysia famous for being one of the top oil and gas company and also for its magnificent PETRONAS towers.

Luckily I arrived early at the event before the heavy rains and strong winds decided to drop by for a visit and got the entire exhibit open area soaked wet. The cars and motorcycles really got a heavy dose of rainwater. The band playing outside was very admirable as they tried to finish the song they were playing before deciding to cut the performance short due to the bad weather. Most of us just went inside to wait for the main event. After probably more or less than an hour, the storm settled down and everyone had the chance to see the exhibit again.

Rain or shine, the event had to go on. No bad weather is going to stop the event from pushing through.

PETRONAS Energy Philippines, Inc.(PEPI) initially engaged in the selling of LPG in cylinders for household and commercial use, as well as LPG in bulk for industrial. It was also distributing autogas, an environment friendly alternative fuel for vehicles. Now it has evolved into selling also lubricants.

 

To introduce their new lubricants business,  Petronas proudly presents “PETRONAS – Liquid and Metal in Action”. The event was held last 22 June 2013, 7:00pm at the 1 Esplanade building at the SM Central Business Park Seaside corner Bay Boulevard, Mall of Asia, in  Pasay City.

 

It also had a cars and motorcycles exhibit, an F1 simulation arcade, the launching of the PETRONAS My Green Card, and a mini-concert from Warner Music artists.

 

 

 

Several VIPS from PETRONAS local and foreign partners were present to grace the event.

The event also recognized the old-time racers of yesteryears with a video presentation and a token for their lifetime achievement.

Warner Music artists included random girl no more, Zendee and Rico Blanco and his motley band of misfits giving everyone their unique brand of entertainment.

 

Raffle prizes were composed mostly of discount coupons for cars and motorcycles, Samsung gadgets, free trips to any part of the Philippines via boat trip, and tickets to the 2014 F1 Race in Malaysia.

Everyone received their own PETRONAS My Green Card.
