Jose and Wally Sponsors Night Held at the Raw Matters Cafe

Here's a contributor I sent to the Jose and Wally Sponsors Night. The event was meant for the recognition of the sponsors,a nd the opportunity for some members of the online media to interview the sponsors, and maybe land an arrangement of their own for some other sponsorship.

The Jose and Wally show is actually a benefit show for thyroid patients. Comic duo Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola will be leading the show at Crossroad Center on July 6 along with guest performers Ethel Booba and Anton Diva.

The Philippine Society of Nuclear Medicine is leading the benefit show entitled as Juan Night with Jose and Wally to support the initial treatment of 10 patients.

The event organizers will be giving away a "3-day, 2-night Boracay Trip for 2 with Airfare and Accommodation" on July 6, 2013!!!

Read on as our contributor relates his story about what transpired that night. Knowing our contributor is a food blogger, it is no surprise he mostly talked about the food they ate during the event. :)

I was very honored to be the one to represent Wazzup Pilipinas in the Jose & Wally sponsors night as we got to meet some of the sponsors of the event.

Raw Matters Cafe

We got to meet Raw Matters manager Ma'am Mabelle and she was really very friendly. She tells us Raw Matters opened to the public during June last year. A lot of people already wanted to franchise it but they wanted to test the waters first.

She had us taste her Cacao droplets and at only 10 pesos each, it is a great bargain for a great snack.

What a treat it was to be able to taste their specialty, Malungay Banana smoothie.  It is certainly a healthy drink for the ages.
 

Out of all the food at the buffet table, I loved the pancit con chopsuey the most.  It is oozing with vegetables just the way a pancit should be.  As expected, it did not have any meat

 Walter Bread

Owner Walter Co took us on a virtual tour about his creation 30 years in the making.  I can't believe they have been serving quality bread to the public that long.  They have a lot of events concentrated mostly on feeding programs at hospitals.



 Bo's Coffee

Bo's Coffee marketing manager AC Benitez and her assistant graced us with their presence.  She told us Bo's Coffee started 17 years ago in Cebu and has grown to 56 branches all over the country.  Most branches are in the Visayas and Mindanao area and only a handful are in Luzon.


 Mekeni Food Corporation

Gisellene Bacalangco of Mekeni food corporation told us their specialties are tocino, hotdog and longanisa.  I am personally a loyal customer of theirs and I am glad they are one of the sponsors of the event.
