e-Plus Tap to Pay Card Launch

I represented Wazzup Pilipinas at the launching of the e-Plus Tap to Pay card last June 10, 2013 at the SMX functions rooms of SM Aura at the Bonifacio Global City in Tagig..

If Hong Kong has the Octopus Card, and Singapore has the EZ-Link Card, SM now has its own version for the Philippines by way of the e-PLUS (Tap to Pay). SM now provides the e-Plus as a new, convenient way to purchase products and services by introducing the e-Plus Tap to Pay stored value card.

The new system allows payment for transactions in most anchor tenants in SM shopping malls.

The new e-Plus can also be used to pay UV Express shuttles in SM Passenger terminals, SM mall parking buildings and tickets for SM cinema, Mall of Asia Arena, Science Discovery Center, SM Bowling, SM Ice Skating, Storyland, SM Cinemas, Directors Club Cinemas, IMAX Theaters, as well as buy snacks from Snacktime.

Soon, it will also be accepted in all SM retail stores and merchants nationwide to provide cashless convenience coupled with a variety of exciting, exclusive perks and more savings.

It was a day that marks a step higher for many to transact and pay without cash. The Tap-to-Pay card gives more freedom to be safer, comfortable and doing the right transactions especially with SM Malls and its merchants and entities.
