Black Canyon Coffee: Not Your Typical Coffee Shop

A while back a lot of people began complaining that coffee houses have become nothing but places to be seen at. 

In 1993, the people behind Black Canyon (Thailand) Co. Ltd. decided to change that.  They developed Black Canyon Coffee, a Thai specialty coffee and International Thai menu restaurant.  Today, the internationally Renown Black Canyon Coffee Restaurant is to be found in several countries, including the Philippines.

In fact, just last June 15, 2013, Black Canyon Coffee Restaurant (BCC) held the grand opening of its second branch in the Philippines.  It was a momentous event, was graced by none other than Mr. Pravit Chitnarapong, Founder and CEO of Black Canyon Thailand Co., Ltd.

Fittingly located among the top-tier restaurants of  at Tuscany along Mckinley Hills in Taguig City, the restaurant makes their signature coffee drinks from a unique kind of coffee bean. Most of Black Canyon's raw coffee beans are obtained from Northern Thailand, where it is grown under the supervision of the King of Thailand's Royal Projects Foundation.

These beans are then carefully crafted into specialty coffee drinks which range from the iconic espresso and cappuccino to exotic blended concoctions like the Mocha Glacier and “Blackpuccino”.  But if you have never had Black Canyon Coffee before and don't know when you'll be back, then don't pass up the chance to try the Black Canyon Iced Coffee.  It's a crowd favorite -  a special blend of premium coffee with two kinds of milk and plenty of ice.

There are also non-caffeinated drinks, such as specially imported Chocolate, Matcha green tea, traditional Thai tea, and even fruit juices and fruit smoothies.

Of course, BCC isn't Thailand’s largest chain of coffee houses for nothing.  The resto offers much, much more than just excellent coffee, it also serves a full menu of delicious authentic Thai dishes.   The menu includes spicy Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai noodles, and savoury Som Tam salads.  It also includes many international or Asian-fusion dishes, soups, salads, sandwiches,  pastas , and steaks.  There are even noodle and rice dishes designed for good health and good life.
