Jose and Wally Supports Fund Raising Event in Celebration of World Thyroid Day

Nuclear medicine is a medical specialty involving the application of radioactive substances in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

When we hear nuclear, danger may be the first thing that comes into mind but many do not realize that nuclear technology in small controlled doses can clearly help save lives.

Just like in the treatment of thyroid. A small dose of nuclear iodine will help dissolve the source of the problem.

Local comedians Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola, from the GMA noontime show Eat Bulaga fame, along with guest performers Ethel Booba and Anton Diva, will be having a Fund Raising event at the Crossroad Center in Quezon City in support of World Thyroid Day for the benefit of patients suffering from Thyroid disease.

The Philippine Society of Nuclear Medicine is leading the benefit show entitled as Juan Night with Jose and Wally to support the initial treatment of 10 patients.

 

The guest performers at the Juan Night with Jose and Wally includes former Wowowillie co-host Ethel Booba and Regine Velasquez impersonator Anton Diva.

Of course, the main performers are Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola, regular co-host of Eat Bulaga and of their own show The Jose and Wally show.

The organizers have also mentioned that all the performers have reduced their talent fees to help in the advocacy of the show. The celebrities will also be promoting the event for free on their own TV shows and during their own gigs and performances.

A raffle held during the event gave a few bloggers some Francis M T-shirts as souvenirs for attending the press conference held at Mang Inasal restaurant at Jackman's Mall in Munoz, Quezon City.
