If it was held in a Manila venue, I'm sure a lot of people will be flocking this IT event dubbed as ICT Innovation Convergence 2013. But it must have coincided with a few more events that same day thus a venue as far as Calamba would be quite a factor to consider in decision making. Nevertheless, many have missed the opportunity to learn how to take advantage of the latest advancement in technologies.
ICT Innovation Converge 2013 was the collaboration of top-rated IT companies like Microsoft, Cisco, Smart Devnet, Mannasoft, Mozilla, Soft Micro Enterprises and IP Systems Inc. For the first time in Calamba City, Laguna province to provide, educate and enhance IT enthusiasts and Business Owners their knowledge and skills about the newest trends and innovation created by these top icons of the industry.
The event was held at the 2nd floor of Jollibee crossing , Calamba in Laguna province where industry practitioners, experts , social media groups will convene .
Event organizer was Mr. Mark Anthony Wagan of Soft Micro Enterprises.
The first speaker was Mr. Eusebio Barrun Jr. is a Mozilla -Philippines community manager. He talks about Mozilla as a Non-profit Global organization, Public benefit. Its mission is Choice, Innovation and Participation. There are currently 12 Mozilla community representatives
Mr. Arnie Locsin, also from Microsoft, introduce to the people the importance of CLOUD Computing.
The next speaker was Mr. Randy Cabrero , AVP of Mannasoft Technologies, which manage groups of IT consultants on infrastructure, data base and Business productivity.
Ms. Patricia B. Celis, Business Development Manager of IPsystems, discussed the Bitdefender anti-virus solution and Deep Freeze reboot to restore software.
Mr. Paul Tan is system engineer handling enterprise and commercial accounts with over 20 years in the ICT industry . He discussed the topic entitled Internet of Everything.
Mr. Nikko Almazan, an Academic Solution Specialist from Microsoft, presented the CSR projects of Microsoft and GREEN technologies , Dreamspark Tools, Student Imagine Cup , Students Microsoft partnership program.
Last but not the least was Mr. Paul Pajo, who calls himself a Developer Evangelist of SMART DevNet.
