Wicked Kitchen: An Awesome Adventure in Taste

 

Wazzup Pilipinas ! Its totally "wicked" !

One should exclaim similar words after a taste of the great meals available at Wicked Kitchen - that small yet full of potential restaurant just opposite the ABS-CBN building in Mother Ignacia.

I've learned that it has other branches in other areas but the one we visited was the smallest in area but the only one with a second floor.

I would also expect that celebrities like Luis Manzano celebrates his birthdays there for a damn good reason.

As it says in front of the resto - Wicked could mean any of the many positive words like fabulous and superb....but lets not so much exaggerate because some of the food at Wicked Kitchen may just need some more fixing up.

The ambiance at Wicked Kitchen seems to be a little too "tight" and dim. Though the intent may be to make it cozier, I kinda prefer more leg room to move around and stretch my legs.

  

 

The  chalk writing on the board looks cute, but we had to fill in the empty area on the board with the "Wicked Kitchen" title just to fill it up more attractively.

Though one may argue that the chalk dusts may fly over to the foods, I guess its not that plenty to become a health hazard.

They call these the "Firestarters" because they resemble small logs that that be used for burning.

I enjoyed munching on the dish with bagoong and green mango shreds. The Crunchy Bagoong Rice was simply satisfying.

The Beef and Beer Pie was interesting but the taste was a bit disappointing for me.

Maybe it was a little bit hot because the icing from this desserts slid down with less warning.

So I'm having a little bit problem identifying which of the desserts are call lust, sloth, gluttony and envy. They are after all very sinful anyway. Each one was a gem!

 

 

 
To summarize, these were the food that were served yesterday 1) Firestarter 2) Asian Chicken Salad 3) Crunchy Bagoong Rice 4) Beef and Beer Pie 5) Sloth 6) Gluttony 7) Lust 8) Envy.
