It's 7,107 times more fun in the Philippines. Watch the official Philippine Department of Tourism AVP to find out why :)
There are a lot of things I am proud of about being a Filipino, too many to name.
The Filipino word for hello is "have you eaten?", the dancing police, the monkey-eating eagle showing up then the monkey jumping, the festivities, the repetitive names of places and foods, the "scissors palace", the winking tarsier, everything about this video.

The Philippines is a wonderful country. All countries go through rough times, and Philippines is no different. Despite that, the people there are still so happy and optimistic. The ability for Filipinos to move on and have fun amidst hard circumstances is amazing.
Every Filipino you'll meet is super nice and friendly and will never fail to make you smile. Indeed, what makes it more fantastic and amazing is the people. They are all so welcoming and always smiling. The Jeepney drivers are so articulate in speaking the English language.

I would say that the Philippines is Asia's very own Caribbean Islands that is way better than in Thailand, Bali, or even in Malaysia.
