I got an opportunity to visit one of the newest options to stay in Tagaytay: Casa Alegria.
Experience one of Tagaytay's newest but beautiful getaways. Nestled in an area of Tagaytay where you can get a great view of the Taal lake and volcano, it is a true modest accommodation just waiting for a few more "upgrades" (rather developments). It has the potential to become a great place to stay. With its architecture that is a brilliant reflection of the modern lifestyle, the place will surely enchant visitors in and out of the country.
The bed and breakfast hotel has already three rooms available (and more coming soon) at a promotional offer of Php 2,500 per day, which is already a great deal considering how pleasant the accommodations are.
Join me as we tour Casa Alegria and its facilities.
With a great view of the famous Taal volcano, ruined only by a utility post that somehow obstructed the amazing view, the scene gives one the pleasure of appreciating the beauty of nature, and with the future development planned for Casa Alegria, I'm sure the experience will be more of an adventure.
Since the place is really new, and constructions of other rooms are still in place, Casa Alegria is not yet the talk of the town. Very few people know about this place so if you plan to visit, it will be better if you tell the tricycle driver that its the place where there's a huge mango tree.
They have these unique furniture where you get to dine with legs crossed as if you've turned Japanese - am I right about this?
Well, its like you're dining in bed where your legs are in a squatted position. A little painful at first because I am not used to the position, but quite enjoyable and an interesting way to eat breakfast that day.
A late breakfast (more like a brunch since it was almost lunch time) was served to our group. I kinda enjoyed the less salty taste. When the food uses less salt, you get to taste the real natural flavor of the food.
The pineapple juice and slices were sweet and just right.
They had this sort of heart-shaped arc leading to the building where there are three available rooms. All three rooms were modest but spacious and luxurious enough for a very comfortable stay. A shower room was also available, the television had a satellite TV connection, and the beds are wide enough for two people.
All glass windows of every room are facing the majestic view of the Taal lake and volcano. You can wake up to an amazing scenery every morning.
What I have showed you are just the amenities of one of the rooms. Though the other rooms are almost the same in size and appearance, there are some noticeable differences.
For example, the room at the ground floor has a kitchen and dining table which makes it a little bigger in space and more convenient for those who would like to cook and dine in ease.
I will definitely recommend this place and stay in it myself next time I visit Tagaytay. It will be an ideal place for a small group or family.
However, it is still recommended to have a service vehicle since transportation to the place from the nearby town is only by tricycle.
Very nice place to stay! Did you make reservation for your room? :)
