Wazzup Pilipinas!
We went out to River Rocks Dining and Drinks Dockside, one of Brevard County’s most attractive riverside restaurant locations, for a night of fun and celebration - in fact two celebrations, my friend's birthday and Christmas eve.
The restaurant offers expansive views from every table and an upscale chef inspired menu. The dock outside features a 5,000 sq. ft. deck over looking the river. It is open daily for lunch and dinner, featuring a casual seafood menu and handmade frozen cocktails.
The menu features contemporary American cuisine focused on fresh seafood, and quality ingredients. They use nothing but fresh local ingredients with a focus on fresh seafood. While their extensive wine list showcases an eclectic mix of bottles with many available by the glass, the River Rocks Lounge features local draught and creative signature cocktails.
The deck outside dining area is the best place to eat and hang out. I highly recommend you try ordering the Island Mango Chicken appetizer and the Coconut Shrimp. They actually have an amazing selection of favorites (crab legs, shrimp, omelettes). They're all really good!
For drinks, they have very affordable Mimosas and Bloody Mary's. For wines, steer away from a Viognier and choose a Riesling instead. The iced tea was fresh brewed and right on the money.
For dessert, the Belgian Waffle was delightfully too good to pass up. You can also try the grilled pineapple and mango sorbet over a butterscotch sauce, or the mascarpone cheesecake.
The bartenders and other servers are also really good-natured and were intuitive and had the initiative enough to offer to take our pictures.
There is a bit difference between dining inside and outside. The indoor restaurant has a different menu and a fancier atmosphere. If you are dining outdoors or dockside, there is a more causal and less expensive menu. The deck seating is much smaller, but it's more intimate and relaxed.
